OK, so Gaia is amazing - the food, the accommodation all very beautiful and comfortable. What took it a notch above, for me, was the incredible intuitive massage (Darby was my therapist) that was unlike any massage I've ever had, and the experience of the yoga instructors and meditation instructors - again, it can all be hit or miss but...

I can thoroughly recommend Gaia as one of the best places to stop and unwind with the best Spa. Book early as it is a massive hit, also having Yoga, Gym and you can do as little or as much as you like. We have had 5 nights in the Komala Villa perfect with the plunge pool and spectacular views...

Last week my two beautiful daughters and I visited Gaia. From the moment we arrived at the airport in Ballina Queensland we had a brilliant experience. We were collected at the airport and driven through picture postcard rolling hills for about 20 minutes and arrived at Gaia. We were greeted and seated in the luxuriously appointed reception area. While drinking...

I am so glad I visited Gaia. It is a beautiful spot. Lovely and serene, and very pretty to look at. The staff were friendly and helpful - and on one instance went above and beyond what you would expect at a normal hotel when I wasn't feeling well (which I really appreciated given I was travelling alone). I love...

I spent five days at Gaia in September, and was lucky enough to have the Acala 1 suite. I wanted to attend the retreat to escape a stressful period involving home renovations, and felt that I needed to take some time to reflect and recharge. Gaia proved to be the perfect tonic for these ills, and I returned home refreshed...

My mum and I visited Gaia for some R&R, and particularly looking for some healing following the loss of my father a year ago. We booked in for a meditation class. When booking, we informed that my mum had never meditated before and was wanting to learn how to do it. The actual meditation class (just Mum and I) was...

Dear Amanda & Lucy Thank you for taking the time to post on trip adviser and thrilled to hear how much you enjoyed the meals, friendliness of the staff and your spa treatments. I was sorry to hear your Meditation did not come up to expectations. I totally agree, a room should be set up prior to a session, I...

I stayed for 4 nights with a friend from Sydney, and everything was perfect. Beautiful environment, incredibly delicious and healthy food, and gorgeous rooms. The best thing about Gaia is the people - I had the best neck massage of my life from Alison and the morning yoga classes with Danielle were brilliant. Loved the Organic Garden Tour and Cooking...

What a day we had up at Gaia spa. It was a cold and windy sort of morning for it, perfect in every way for the stresses of life to melt away. The rolling hills in which this place is nestled only compounds the beauty of this soul sanctuary. Loved every moment. Wish it went forever.

I love Gaia- I am a repeat offender and have been 3 times. From the first contact to book your retreat package everything is special. I have stayed in the Sura Terraces and the Layana rooms. Both are lovely. I have stayed in March and in November. March was a bit cooler and November was great for enjoying the pool....
