Barbara was super helpful in helping us with our accommodation here, plenty of communication. Apartments are very close to the village and very good security. Wouldn't hesitate staying here again.in the Woolshed Apartments, Havelock North

If you’re looking for a bit of space, these are very well set out apartments. Nicely presented and very clean. The furniture is a little ordinary but the bathrooms are new and well done. Great central position to the waterside and Saturday markets plus the fabulous Hobart restaurants. The food in the restaurant it’s quite ordinary but fun is to be had at the bar!

Was booked here by family members to stay for a wedding. Apartment we stayed in was very tired looking. This was disappointing as it is advertised as luxury apartments. Venetian blinds broken, need replacing also 2 lamps missing light shades, beds uncomfortable. As this was booked on our behalf we did not realise there was no air conditioning which in the middle of February was extremely unpleasant in fact it was cooler outside than in! Manager difficult to get hold of. I ended up booking in elsewhere. Would not recommend.

I've stayed here four times, although previously under different management, but - after my recent nine day stay - I won't return. Although the apartments are spacious, the ownership model is weird & doesn't work: each apartment is owned by absentee landlords, and managed by a local couple. The managers didn't spend much on-site, although turned up swiftly when our faulty toaster triggered the fire alarm twice and brought the local fire brigade; we were threatened with the $1000 call out charge, until the managers realised the toaster was faulty (and replaced it immediately). Our unit was serviced only once during the nine days. When we asked for more dishwasher tablets, we were told to buy them as only a starter pack was provided. Very odd, and irritating. It would seem there's no consistency of equipment between the apartments. We also didn't like that the owner had chained up one of the kitchen cupboards. On our last day, the manager rang us before the check out time (she knew we were attending an exercise workshop) and threatened us with a surcharge if we didn't check out on time; she later relented, but it was a charmless end to a charmless stay.

We absolutely loved staying here. The two bed/two bath provided the most space we've ever found for a "hotel." Everyone was happy. For our stay it was essential to have the kitchen, which was very well supplied. Dinning and living area, with a small balcony. While it was a bit hot one or two days (no A/C), the open windows and some cool drinks helped. Be aware, the main road that runs along the place is quite busy. For the first few days the traffic noise was noticeable, but very soon we didn't hear it anymore. The place was otherwise quite and we found the room to be very clean. TV was great. Good WiFi (although it's parsed out in chunks). As far as location, if you have a car this place is very convenient. It's a bit of a walk into Havelock North, but not impossible. If we ever go back we would stay here again.
