I was searching for a good place to meet and discuss business with few local customers during my recent trip to Kanhangad and felt happy in getting the right place. Good lobby and neat room. I stayed only day time. Staff needs real training to suit to hospitality service. Lunch we had - thali meals was really tasty and this is the only property in the town to recommend for a comfortable stay. Frequent power failure was little disturbing for smooth business discussions.

I have satyed there from 7th July to 17th July 2014.....The staff is very nice and caring.. they never say no to any of my requirements.....Great room service and multiple option... Do try Kerala Paratha and Gobhi Manchurian.....

The rooms were certainly very nice with soft beds and swanky bathrooms. But when I went for Dinner there was a loud TV playing more for the benefit of the staff as they were the only ones watching it. After eating I took my tea into the lobby to avoid the TV, and then a staff member turned on the lobby TV to watch the cricket, so I had to move again to the other end of the lobby.
Nice hotel but run more for the benefit of the staff than the guests it seems.

we where searching for a good budget hotel. the raj residency fits into our bill perfectly.The place itself is enchanting.Location is very convinient .we were provided with excellent buffet breakfast in mornings. The staff was courteous and helpful. Rooms are decent and comfortable.Moreover MD Mr Nithin nayak was very helpful. I would love to go back here....

Absolutely loved this hotel, had everything a hotel could ever need and all the staff were perfect from the start of my trip until the end. Excellent service, huge rooms,the food was excellent, every square foot of the room is useful. The front desk help was very attentive and polite.This might not be the cheapest hotel on the market, however you definitely get what you pay for, and that's quality! I will adopt Raj Residency Hotel as one of the first choices on my next trip!

I don't understand how hotels can function with absolutely no hospitality what so ever.
Cons (because dats all we got) :
No bellboy, seriously?? d front desk guy just gave us the key n was like "dats all".. I didn't understand, were we supposed to go on our own to the floor n find d rooms by ourselves??
Woken up early morning saying checkout s at 9. Check out at 9??? NINE?? where ve you heard dat??
Apparently since our booking was a group booking, we had no complementary breakfast. When we tried to order something by ourselves, dey said deir only breakfast options r dosa n idli!!! 4star hotel, yeah!!
D Google prank : I don't think ts d hotel's problem ; however, we were derouted from d regular highway to a really secluded route reaching the back gate of the hotel. Since we reached at 10pm, t was a weird thing, d route was really secluded. Though I don't know who to blame here.
Pros: the rooms were spacious.
Verdict : DO NOT.

We stayed in the hotel for two days. Rooms are spacious and clean. Restaurant is good and have decent menu. Parking is ample. Staff is courteous and Service is fast. The only negative thing being that there are no shops near the hotel.

I booked this hotel as there was no other hotel available in Bekal area. The price was not very expensive. I also chose this as the property was only about 10 KM from Bekal Fort. We drove from Bangalore. The hotel has a nice and mordren look. The staff were nice and courtious. We checked in and were very happy with the room..... Extra soft bed and nice furtinure...... excellant Bathroom. The AC cooled us, and after a while went for lunch.
The hotel was very reasonably priced with good quantity. They even had a Thali which was filling and tasty. The Chicken Biriyani was Kerala style and was very filling....The pink colored warm drinking water caught the imagination of my daughter.
Stayed for a couple of days and the room service was prompt.. Enjoyed our stay and would definately recomend the place for anyone touring Kasergod area

Our plan was to visit important tourist locations of Kasargode and Kannur in three days. Seeing the reviews from net we booked this hotel. Our selection proved excellent. When you enter the property, you don't get an awesome feeling. But the rooms turned out to be excellent with all amenities. The friendly, efficient staff made our stay memorable. The taxi arranged by the hotel ( owned and driven by Mr. C.M.Moidu) proved to be excellent. He patiently helped us cover us all important places in and near Kanganhad and enroute to Kannur in two days instead of three. So we could spend our third day leisurely, and thus enjoy our tour. Thank you Raj residency and Mr. Moidu, you made this trip a memorable one...
