Second time to this lodge with a safari group. Refurbishment on-going, not too disruptive when we were there. Manager greeted us and advised if the noise disturbed us, to inform him. They had knocked down the original restaurant and reception area, and there were temporary areas for meals. New eating area was very nice. Not sure if this will be...

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Primate Lodge for 2 days on 4/21/17-4/23/17. We stayed in the amazing tree house that is set back 600m from the lodge itself. It was absolutely amazing. The views from this tree house were amazing. I loved the short hike to get there. I loved that it is legitimately a tree house. The...

Hello ALex W, We welcome you both from Primate Lodge Kibale. We are so happy to hear how much you loved staying with us. Indeed the tree house has the bestviews. Did you see the elephant watering hole from your room? The hike is also a favorite among our more active clients. Its a nice, short distance but still some...

The booking process was quite difficult with a number of mistakes that had to be corrected- all small things but they add up! You do not need to pay park entry fees if only staying in the lodge . My 9/7 year old son were very  happy to wonder the forest near the lodge while some of the group did...

Primate Lodge was nothing but but welcoming, friendly and helpful. We arrived late from Kampala and they were more than accommodating. Arriving at around 11pm was never a problem and they even kept the kitchen open for us. The room (elevated cottage) was spectacular with a great bathroom (plenty of hot water) and a huge, comfy bed. The best thing...

What a jewel...perfectly located within a short walk to the National Park Warden's office where you can register for the experiential chimpanzee track. Primate Lodge is really comfortable: the accommodation spacious, well appointed - surrounded by foliage. The GM, staff and service just wonderful.

This was the first stop on our group trip. The lodge and its cabins were pleasant, well equipped. It was nice to take a walk around the property, which is situated essentially in the rainforest. I had signed up to do the full day Chimpanzee Habit and this was a perfect jumping off point.

Our seven mid-level forest cottages are en-suite with spacious bathrooms, 2x twin size beds or 1x king size bed, lounge chairs and a spacious verandah overlooking the rainforest. For our adventurous guests, we offer a secluded Sky Tree House (not self-contained) about 200m deep in the forest.
