The room was spacious. comfortable and very nicely furnished. Bathroom was large and modern. Everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was well presented and a more than adequate start to the day. Serve yourself coffee and snacks were available throughout the day. Reiko was a wonderful host and we truly appreciated the gift bag of Japanese goodies she gave to my...

We stayed for 3 nights while visiting from Vancouver in July and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Super clean and comfortable. The service the owners provided was beyond outstanding. When we arrived they had a minor glitch with the cable receiver in our room which prevented our TV from working and despite it happening in the early evening,...

This is a truly outstanding B&D and is the best that we have stayed at during our travels. We stayed 3 nights in June in the Aurora Suite. The Aurora Suite was HUGE with a Victorian sitting area overlooking the mountains. It had a kings size bed and a large ensuite bathroom. This room costs a bit more but was...

One of the nicest B&Bs we have stayed at. Reiko keeps the house and rooms immaculate. The continental breakfast went way beyond what one would usually expect. A full breakfast is also available at additional cost. Reiko and her husband Sascha were friendly and welcoming. The house is located about 10 minutes (by car) outside of city centre in a...

Loved my stay at Bluejay Suites. The rooms are sparkling clean with modern finishes. The host, Reyko is super sweet and helpful yet at the same time gives you your space. They have their own private space and you have access to living room, dining room and, of course, your individual room. You don't feel like your intruding! Breakfast is...

This is a first class bed and breakfast! In all my many travels I can say that I have not had a better experience in a B&B. Reiki is outstanding in her skill as a hostess and breakfast chef. Sasha is a perfect host and this couple excelled at making us feel right at home the moment we walked in...

As one of the Reviews noted; "This was a truly impressive B&B." In our travels to five continents, BlueJay is certainly comparable to the better B&Bs. I can think of 4-5 other comparable B&Bs in Turkey, Ireland, Newfoundland and Argentina. The room that we had was very comfortable with a great bed with linens that seemed to be brand new....

We just returned from 5 weeks in the Yukon and Alaska, staying in 12 different places. This was number one. The room was spacious and comfortable with a fantastic bathroom, but the best thing about it was Reiko. She was delightful, so hospitable, and a wonderful cook. The breakfasts were great, and we enjoyed her company as well as her...

This was a truly impressive B&B! The room & the common areas were beautifully decorated, spacious, elegant. The beds were extremely comfortable with soft, clean linens. The bathroom was spa-like with a soaker tub, shower with jets, double sink, soft, fluffy towels, nice soaps/shampoo. The breakfasts were amazing, delicious & elegantly served at your specified time. Coffee, tea, pop, cookies,...

Everthing is perfect in the room and bath. You will miss this bed when you are at home. Breakfast is absolut top. Last but not least Mrs. Reiko Tanaka is a very friendly person. The house is not in Downtown, but it is only a 5 minute ride with a car.
