Because there's no too much snow, I booked an 1 hour dog sled tour with this guy's. Most of the tour operators were closed, and the big dog sled tours were not working. This led me to this experience and the awesomeness of riding your own dog sled (on your own) The guide was great and very helpful in the...

Had a fantastic time doing an hour-long dogsled run! Steve was a wonderful guide, and the rest of the crew were also immensely helpful and accommodating of the city-slickers. Dogs were, of course, adorable. Once in a lifetime experience!

We did an hour run on dogsled. It was fantastic once I got over my initial nervousness. We dressed quite heavy for the temperatures and did overheat. So I would recommend layers. Wasn't much snow down this year- so we hit some grass. Would wait later in the season. Bring a go pro that's what I was missing. Our tour...

We stayed here as a group. Gary provided fabulous meals, cooked on their propane stove. If you are prepared to be in a location that is off the grid, it's fabulous. Great location about 20 minutes outside of Whitehorse (Fish Lake). Terrific views, Fish Lake itself is stunning. If you're up there for aurora borealis, great location. The rooms are...

HI there; Thank you for your review. Unfortunately your leader for this tour did not forward our information to you. He has been at our location a few times already and should have prepared everyone for our "off the grid" lifestyle as well as any other information about showers, water etc that you required. Because this did not happen for...

Comfortable, clean, friendly, dogs and horses everywhere! Thanks to Jocelyn and Ian we had the most amazing three days at the Sky High Wilderness Ranch. This is an off the grid property so be prepared. Literally just up the road from beautiful Fish Lake, acres and acres of wilderness. We stayed at the Lodge which has three bedrooms upstairs. two...

My husband and i came to whitehorse for our honeymoon, and wanted to experience a Yukon feel of true wilderness so we booked 2 nights at the Northern cabin, and included a 3 hour horseback ride in the evening. We had no electricity and an outhouse. There was a small propane stove and a woodstove. The cabin was well stocked...

A phenomenal experience! We were very fortunate to stumble across the Sky High Wilderness Ranch during a recent trip to Whitehorse. It is only a short jaunt out of town and well worth the ten minute drive. There are multiple accommodations available, everything from private cabins, Yurts and the Lodge in which we stayed. The hostess, Jocelyn is kind, courteous,...

We would highly recommend a horse ride trek - we went on a tranquil 3 hour trek, beautiful scenery, very calm horses (in super condition) - one day let's hope we get back in Winter for the dog sledge experiences!

We went to Sky High twice as part of a Northern Tales experience (fantastic job by them). The first day we did a variety of things, including dog sleds, snowmobiling and snow shoeing. The second day we learned how to drive a snow mobile. Dave and Scott were our guides. Both fantastic, and we learned a lot about the surroundings...
