The Coast's 'The Deck' bar was good. The room fair, a bit small but clean. The two female restaurant breakfast staff were very unfriendly and provided poor service like it was an effort to provide service to us. Very poor food too. We had one evening meal in the restaurant and that was terrible too (nachos should be more than...

The rooms were quite spacious, beds very comfortable. No exhaust fan in the bathroom though. Our room was above 'The Deck' bar downstairs and we could constantly hear a door banging, possibly to the kitchen, but as we were out viewing the northern lights every night it was only a problem when we were trying to catch a few zzzz...

Comfy and clean rooms, and really nice staff (a theme for the Yukon for us!) We were happy to have a clean shower, and big comfy duvet after our Dempster Highway adventure. Close to downtown amenities, and we walked over to the SS Klondike as well. Would recommend!

Hello Lucyinsky! Thanks for your great review. Yes, I would agree 100%, Yukoners are a great bunch! From personal experience the Dempster Highway can be quite a thrill. We are delighted you ended your trip at the Coast High Country Inn and we hope to welcome you back the next time you need a northern adventure.

This room was cheaper if booked through a booking service. We had a small, standard room, but it was certainly enough for us. I especially liked the shampoo, lotion and gel in the bathroom. They were new, tall bottles, eco-friendly. It was a lovely touch. Everything looked new in this room. There was even a small kitchenette provided, which we...

I've been coming to this hotel for the last 20 plus years for work...in fact my father worked on the construction of this hotel. The hotel staff are very nice, as for the restaurant and The Deck staff...the service was horrible. The first morning I was there to eat breakfast, I waited 25 minutes before I got up to leave....

We decided to visit the far North again to see the Northern Lights and while there are limited choices in Whitehorse, this hotel had some of the better reviews and Coast hotels are usually pretty good. The first room we were offered was REALLY stuffy - it was really stale and didn't smell pleasant. It was pretty warm still and...

After reading reviews of this hotel I'm confused about how it's been favorably reviewed. Beginning in the lobby I started to notice how dirty the place was. All along the baseboards (which are tile) there is built up dirt, dust and who knows what. Our room was OLD, dirty, & dated. There is no A/C, which wouldn't be a problem...

Service was excellent...I would like to comment on several things - power outlets in my room were limited (you have to unplugged some appliance to make room for your electronic gadgets, dirty and old computer chair, time to upgrade the tv to high-definition, slow wifi

Had fourth floor room with 2 double beds, large bathroom with generous size spa bath - shower over spa bath. Found rooms a little stuffy though and had to have windows open. Wifi was fine - slower in the evenings. Friendly staff - can recommend.

The outside of the inn looked very inviting. Very modern and we wete greeted by a lovely staff member. We were given our keys and went to our room only to be greeted by a room about the same size as a cabin on a cruise liner. The bed was only a double and the smallest we've come across in...
