This spot is off the beaten path and a joy to see. The dogs are all friendly and the people are too! The room was very clean and comfy. The house was warm and inviting and Manuela was super helpful and super sweet. Only thing is we wished we arrived a bit earlier to spend more time with the dogs.

We stayed at Muktuk for three nights during September. Our flight to Whitehorse arrived late evening and when we arrived at Muktuk we found our brilliant host Manuela had provided a note of all the accommodation details together with a nightlight for our use in the dark and lots of wonderful signs to direct us to our room and the...

We stayed at MukTuk up for one night. We also went on the training run. The accommodations were clean and simple. The shared washroom was not an issue, but it's something we're not crazy about. That is just our opinion. The room was simple and comfortable. The breakfast provided was a very good continental breakfast. There were no hot items,...

I hesitated before choosing Muktuk because sometimes I'm a bit nervous around dogs. But I had a phenomenal visit and hope to return someday! Muktuk is heaven for dog-lovers but there's so much more beyond that. The B&B is in a beautiful area where you can go for short or long hikes, relax by the river, or go on a...

My husband and I stayed for 1 night before embarking on our Dempster Highway roadtrip. First up, the staff are great, it's a nice low-key atmosphere, very welcoming and great set-up. I'm a huge dog-lover (and you should be, if you stay!) so even though our vacation plans only allowed for 1night, we wanted to get as much time with...

This was truly a fantastic experience - and it wasn't even sledding season (in April, right after). The Lodge is beautiful (and historic) and very comfortable and Manuela and her staff are wonderful. The food is great, the rooms are charming. And the commitment to 130 beautiful sledding dogs is so impressive. Loved it, loved it, loved it and can't...

We stayed here by accident when we couldnt get a campground. Friendly, helpful staff and comfortable, affordable rooms compared to many of the rip-off accommodations encountered in the North. Highly recommended, especially for dog lovers! My only suggestion would be too invest in some new bedding as the synthetic comforters need updating!

I am military and was moving to the lower 48 and we were stranded on the Alaska Highway when my engine broke down. The kind folks at Muktuk got me in touch with a towing company and they drove out to the scene. They towed my trailer to the cabin and brought my family and our dog in for the...

I stayed at Muktuk Adventures while I was reporting a story about traveling the Alaska-Canada Highway. This was exactly what I needed after camping for five nights! The staff was welcoming, inviting and extremely friendly. The main lodge is a hostel style, so as long as you don't mind sharing space with other folks then you'll be right at home.

Summer travels ,first time to the Yukon and this was the ideal place for us.The old saying "the more you give the more you will receive' is true. not in terms of cash, but in terms of new opportunities and friendships. The lodge was a great base camp for exploring the area and Manuela's continental breakfast was excellent! Would return anytime...
