This hotel is getting renovated and the renovations are nice. The lobby is attractive. The hallways are needing a facelift but our room was renovated and gorgeous. It was spacious and had beautiful furnishings. I would recommend this hotel and look forward to it all being renovated.

Our family of 4 stayed mid week through the weekend. Good location and friendly staff. Our room was in the front side of the hotel that faces the highway, lots of noise so ask for a room that faces the courtyard.
The room was dated and had peeling wall paper, also wasnt very clean(towel bars had lots of dust on them etc). The 2 double beds were comfortable.
The hotel is attached to a Denny’s restaurant and has a Moxie’s in the parking lot. There is no continental breakfast because of the Dennys so you cant grab a quick coffee and cereal, you have to go to Dennys and order breakfast.
The pool and hot tub are very small and far from the rooms but clean and enjoyable.
Overall this hotel is worth the price but there are better in the city.

I've stayed in another Sandman previously, however this was my first time at this location. The lobby was nice, hallway is a bit dated, same with the rooms. Bed was nice and comfy, lights flickered when you turned them on. Location of hotel is on the service road so you don't hear any road noise.

Booked this hotel on a deal for a stay one, get one deal. Unreal deal!
We were in town for pleasure but, had to work from the hotel for the first day of out stay so a desk was mandatory. I booked the "Executive King Suite with Sofa Bed".
Before the bad, one positive was the housekeeping staff was great help at providing more blankets, and towels. There service was impeccable. Amazing work.
Our stay was plagued with problems from check in, to customer service and beyond. On check in the process was very slow. Seemed like the couple at the desk was not sure what was going on. But that is fine! We checked into the room but was disappointed to see that the amenities we booked the room for were not there. Mainly no desk.
I gave the front desk a call and advised them that we were expecting a desk (based on the room description, and the photos of the room) and we'd like one and would be glad to downgrade if needed. The agent advised me that none of the rooms in the hotel have desks but will check around to see if they could find one. This struck me as odd as personally I have never been to a hotel that did not have a desk in the room. Some time went by, and I had not received a call, so I visited the front desk only to find the two employees on their phones. I asked if they had found a room with a desk, and they said they could upgrade me, but it would take some time. The agent also advised he would advise his manager to take down the desk amenity off the website (after he made me prove that it did say this).
We eventually got it sorted and into the new room and it was ok. There were more issues, that were addressed to the front desk staff that went un-answered but let them go as we got a great deal for the stay.
However, that being said, I would be extremely disappointed if I paid full price. I understand to some degree that maybe we were not their top priority customer due to the deal we got (off their website), but it was still disappointing and would not stay again. And based on some conversations we heard from other guests they were not impressed either.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and it’s in a perfect location. It’s literally right across the street from Victoria square mall and everything we need. The staff was friendly and helpful even the maintenance person was very helpful cleaning the black ice in the parking lot for us when we were unable to find a decent parking spot. It’s an older hotel but the room was nice and clean, very spacious since we had the king suite. I would definitely stay at this location again.

Coming from Edmonton with my family. The hotel is right off the highway which makes it very easy for us to find! We originally booked one room with two beds for a night but later found out the hotel does not offer any rooms with two queens. It was very difficult to have me my wife and our two kids rest after a long day of driving especially we are here because my wife has an exam to do the next day. Thanks to the clerk at the front desk, he offered us an additional room at a discounted price and gifted us with a food ticket to the restaurant next door and wished my wife good luck! That clerk was very patient in hearing us out and came up with the best solution to accommodate our stay! First time staying at the sandman with the most friendly and accommodating service.

A very tired hotel in serious need of refurbishing, or a wrecking ball, depending on your disappointment.
We were sent here by Air Canada as our flight was canceled and we were stranded overnight.
On the plus side, the staff were friendly, check-in was quick and efficient, and there is a Moxies restaurant in front of the hotel which has decent food and is license . There is a Denny's attached to the hotel..I will leave it to the readers to decide whether that is a pro or a con.
The non smoking room didn't smell like smoke, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable.
On the negatives, the room smelled dank (although a few minutes of air conditioning and acclimation cured that), the wall paper was peeling off the walls, the curtains were torn, and the toilet had a slow leak.

My girlfriend and I ENJOYED our anniversary at the Sandman Hotel Regina! We were greeted by an efficient and competent as well as friendly front desk clerk. The cozy Jacuzzi suite offered us a welcome respite, We both remarked that it is one of the quietest and cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in. This hotel is conveniently located near by shopping centers. Easy walking distance to a lot of great restaurants and bars. The common areas were always clean, nicely decorated and modern. It was an excellent experience. Will surly come back again soon!

We had specific and varied needs throughout the week and the hotel was able to accommodate all of them. We had different family members arriving and leaving on various dates but the hotel was able to keep up with us. We had a total of 13 stays in one week! The staff went above and beyond in service!

We enjoyed staying at this hotel on a 2 days trip to Regina doing some Christmas shopping. The reception guys were really helpful and welcoming and gave us updates on the hotel practices during covid. Our first impression of the hotel is the Christmas decorations in the lobby was very cute! Room was spacious and quiet and the most comfortable bed. Unfortunately the pool wasn’t open but we love this hotel and location look forward to returning and being able to enjoy the full facilities next time.
