Amazing service! We arrived on Thanksgiving without a reservation and Michelle at the front desk was wonderful! She took extra tube to phone around to local restaurants to ask about the vegetarian options and hand delivered a list of options to our room. The continental breakfast was hit and fresh and Gilda made sure we had plenty of warm cinnamon buns. Great location downtown- perfect for a family on a long haul Roadtrip!

Located centrally in Regina, this hotel is fine for a short business trip. My room had a smell of stale tobacco smoke but other than that, it was reasonable. The room was serviced daily, which was unusual during the Covid period. The included breakfast ws limited but ok

This is a family friendly hotel conveniently located at Regina downtown area, the room was much bigger than other holiday inn express. We even had a decent sitting area with a round table, we put all salad chicken wings we bought from Costco, and had a comfortable dinner.. Moreover , the Front Desk Agent Joanne was very nice and patient, she answered a lot of my questions over the phone before I arrived the hotel, and after I arrived the hotel, I met her in person, she was very polite and helpful.
I will definitely return to this hotel if I go visiting Regina again

This hotel is not up to Holiday Inn Express standards. They advertised breakfast was provided but when we showed up it was closed throughout stay. The room is old and in rough shape. The ceiling in the bathroom had mold spots on it. Don’t stay.

Thank you for your feedback. All hotels with wall vinyl have these stains - they are from the glue when the wall vinyl is installed and impossible to remove. Sorry you feel posting pictures of that is meaningful use of time. The breakfast area is closed for renovation - which hotel do from time to time. We have passed all of our quality inspections and some peeling seams is not indicative of failing “brand standards”. We will address the items in your room which is an isolated case.

Great location, spacious rooms, free breakfast - definitely a hotel designed for business travelers. Although nothing fancy, this is a great option for budget and value for money stay. I chose this hotel simply because I arrived their by bus from Saskatoon, and the place was 300 meters from the bus stop, a short walk at 10:30pm which didnt hurt. It was also walking distance to Regina General Hospital and the downtown. There was an Indian restaurant in the premise which I thoroughly enjoyed too. Staff was very helpful too. Overall, no complaints.

My wife, sister in law and myself were travelling out to B.C. We were suppose to stay at the Wyndam (downtown). It was booked well in advance with Priceline.com.
When we arrived we were shocked to learn that the Wyndam had been closed because of Covid-19 since April. Thanks for the heads up.
We began to phone around to find alternate accommodations. The Holiday Inn was literally around the corner. The staff were super friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable. The grab bag breakfast was a smart alternative to traditional Continental.
We had to pay extra for parking but this was the only negative aspect of our experience. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed for 1 night in the weekend and really enjoyed the hotel. Super location, just 2 blocks from Mall and downtown restaurants and pubs. Room was clean and comfortable. Will stay here again for sure. Staff at front desk very pleasant and helpful.

Filthy and disgusting staff. Greasy! Low lifes and extremely dishonest. Surprised an establishment like this is still operational. Wouldn't be surprised if Michelle is running this place into the ground on purpose.

We had a non-suite room which was HUGE, well-appointed and comfortable with a fridge, dining table, etc. It was incredibly hot during our stay (+38 C) and to keep cool we had to have the unbelievably noisy airconditioning system on at night because the windows did not open.
This made sleep difficult.
The other 'down' aspects were the public areas which need upgrading and redecorating, and the ricketly lift which was not pleasant to use. The hotel has very limited facilities and there is a independent restaurant located within the hotel, reached by walking down a dingy, uncarpeted corridor. The restaurant's food was well-below average and the surroundings were unappealing. The staff were friendly but not always efficient.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites from Nov 28 to Dec 2 for a conference and enjoyed my week in Regina:
1. Check-in: Fast - our employer had booked a block of rooms and the keys were ready to go upon check-in;
2. Room: I was in a larger room on the 5th floor (503) that had a fridge and microwave which I found out are not available in all the rooms so the upgrade was a lovely surprise. The room was large and had a table, a desk, flat screen tv, the "bar" area with a fridge, microwave and coffee pot, and a queen bed. The bed was firm but comfy and there was an assortment of pillows so I could use as many as required. The room itself was clean and in good repair;
3. Housekeeping: Excellent! Everything clean and restocked each day and anyone that I passed in the hallway was friendly;
4. Staff: Didn't catch everyone's name but Bronwyn on the front desk was a great resource when we had questions about the amenities that were available in the neighbourhood;
5. Breakfast: The same breakfast that's available at other Holiday Inn Express hotels; however, the food itself seemed to be better quality (fresh warm cinnamon buns, bananas restocked every day, decent egg/bacon options, yogurt, cereals,etc). There was also an awesome-looking pancake maker which I didn't use but others did enjoy. Coffee & tea seemed to be available all day even after breakfast ended.
6. Location: Within walking distance of the downtown shopping centre plus a good selection of restaurants and pubs.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
