Arrived about 2:30 pm and was able to check in, nice. Friendly staff. We had a large room (Room 301) with a large empty space, great for a small dance. A sitting chair would have been nice but overall was fine for what we were there for.
The room had one large king bed which had one good side and one side with a long depression in it from maybe broken springs or something or it had been bent. I slept in the other direction the first night so my lower body was in the hole. I flipped the mattress for the second night and it was much better. Either way, the mattress should be replaced! The room was clean, also had a fridge, TV and wifi. The bathroom had two larger towels and one or two hand towels, shampoo and soap. No coffee/tea in the room but available in the lobby 24 hrs which was nice. There is instant porridge for breakfast and muffins and bananas. The staff were all friendly and helpful. There is a table attached to the wall and bench seat with a chair. The AC, a window unit worked well but was loud.
This is a value hotel on the east side of town, near many box stores and restaurants. There is a Shell station on site and a Carls Jr. very close and a Tim Horton’s, across the highway, at the traffic lights. McDonalds is a bit further away.
If we need a hotel like this again in Regina, would stay here again but not in Room 301!

The first thing we noticed when we pulled up was the roof. It is in serious need of replacing. Made us wonder what else was wrong.
We had dogs so we were placed in a ground floor room with outside access. The room was quite large. It was basically clean but the laminate floor had lifting on the edges which was noticeable everywhere. Not sure if it was from mopping or other dogs.
The bed was clean and comfy. There was only minor noise in the morning.
The location was great. I felt safe walking my dogs through the neighborhood. There was a variety of shopping and restaurants nearby.

My wife and I stayed here on our cross Canada trip. Kind of a bit rundown looking building and the service was okay. Our room was clean and quiet, but nothing special. Very basic motel at a very reasonable price. We will probably try a different place on our way back.

We would like to say that we are very disappointed in how our reservation was handled during this stay, we booked this stay online but also at the same time called in to discuss the room we were reserving during the reservation process, We were ensured the room we booked was available and received our confirmation email.. On the day we were to checkin we received a text message and a phone call from " Kevin " stating that they no longer had our room available and were moving us to the 2nd or 3rd floor . I explained that we had confirmation of the booking and also had talked to the desk at time of booking to confirm we would be booking a ground floor room with outside access. This was extremely important to us as we were travelling with an elderly dog that needs to be taken outside frequently to prevent accidents. I explained this to Kevin also .I asked then why if I received confirmation and also talked to the desk to ensure the the room I wanted was available was the room no longer available , I can only assume that the room was double booked and I was bumped. I asked to talk to a manager and was told that there was not one available but Kevin said he would try to contact the manager and call me back . Approximately 6 hours later we went to the hotel as we had not heard anything , Kevin was gone and the girl was at the desk said that we had given him the wrong number and he tried to call us back. We said that was a lie as Kevin had called us and also sent us a text message previously on the number that we gave .We explained to the desk girl why we booked the room we did and why we needed it , and she said if we were not happy we could go elsewhere , We agreed to accept a room with two queens on the second floor even though our booked room was a king room , as it was closet we could get to an exit with our elderly dog. We have stayed at Motel 6 many times previously and have never had booking issues like this before. I must say this has left a sour taste in regards to the confidence of your booking system and the honesty of the staff at the desk. I truly believe that the room I booked was double booked and because we were only needing one night the room was given to someone wanted a longer stay.

We stayed in a room with an outside door. Had a severe rain storm come over us. It rained into the room through the window & door. We had a huge puddle in the room. The room was large, but musty. We won't stay again.

In a city that seems to always have a concert, sporting event or conference that cripples the under serviced hospitality industry, the Victoria Park Motor Inn was a surprising experience. It was the last hotel with a vacancy that we could find in the city so I wasn't expecting much. The rooms are very basic, a little dated, but clean. The bed was comfortable and the staff were excellent. All for a little more than half the $ of neighbouring places. I have no idea why they call this a "Motor Inn". Although if they didn't, I probably wouldn't have got a room that night because this name scares people off. Make no mistake this is a hotel, and a good valued hotel at that.

Do yourself a favour and stay away from this place. Room we stayed in had no fridge, no coffee machine, no hair dryer, plug in tub didn't work, so no bath. Not even a shared microwave in the whole place, no whirl pool as advertised, lots of noise. No continental breakfast as advertised. Just stay away!!!!

Our first impression of the Victoria Park Motor Inn was that it was somewhat clean and the price was cheap. We got the last non-smoking room, ground floor, near the main entrance. We asked to see the room beforehand and it was large and somewhat clean, although it did have an order. We were desperate because the other places we checked were all full.

At night, the a/c sounded like a Mac truck parked outside your door so we turned it off. At 1:30 in the morning we were jolted out of bed because of the scratching noise we heard coming from under the bed frame. I went into the bathroom, turned on the lights, and there was a scurry of noises coming from behind the shower walls. That was when I realized that there were mice/rats in the walls and that they must have been chewing on the inside wall.
We went to the front desk and demanded another room. All they had was a smoking room on the second floor and at 1:30 a.m. we were not prepared to look for anther place so we took the room. There was no scratching noises heard in the second floor room but neither could we sleep. We checked out 7 in the morning and had to pay for the nights stay.
