Very friendly staff. Larger room then most. I would suggest you stay here unless you are looking for a $200 room.

I have just recently returned from Regina and had the experience of staying at the Sunrise Motel. I was in Regina a total of two weeks and stayed here 13 out of 15 nights. The staff were very accomodating, friendly and pleasant. The manager was wonderful to us and went out of his way to make sure our stay was pleasant.

I have read some of the other reviews people have given and am agreeable on most of their comments. As for partying, 1 night out of 15 there was some and it was dealt with by the manager. There is not a motel/hotel that asks for party people to stay at their hotel, it just happens because people don't have the brains to think of others trying to sleep. It is also difficult for workers to judge what kind of people are checking into their motel.

The rooms were quite clean with very new bathrooms and I NEVER seen 1 bed bug.

As for staying here again, I definately would! Thank You G. and the rest of the staff for providing a home away from home.

I stay in regina most of the times in hotels but this time i was on tight budget and i decided to stay in mideum size motel and i found sunrise motel in my search , i reserved it for 2 days was surprised with the reasonable rates and on arrival was happy with the quality of the room. I missed hot tub but i dont complaint for the price i paid.i suggested front desk to add hot tub as i noticed they have renovations going on.this place worked for me at times when i was on budget.

We rented the King suite with a jet tub. The jet tub was broken and wouldn't even turn on. The bed sheets were dirty and stained. They were also not changed from the previous guest because there were crumbs under the blankets. No TV remote and almost everything in the room was broken in some way. The bathroom tile was all busted up and had black gunk it the cracks. Early morning water started pouring out of the bathroom fan from the upstairs suite and all our clothing got soaked. When I asked for a discount which I felt I was entitled to because of the broken tub and soaked clothes the front desk lady became very rude. She raised her voice and started blaming me for breaking the handles on the jet tub even though she didn't even look at the room yet. While blaming me for breaking a bunch of things in the room two other people (I'm assuming her family members? Stood and stared at me with their arms crossed as to intimate me or something.Definitely won't be renting a room from this place again.

My family and I stayed her for a week because we were displaced from our home. They never once came to clean our room. We had to go ask them for new bedding and towels to change ourselves. When we needed toilet paper, they acted stingy with it. The last day i stayed there that's when I started to see the COCKROACHES!! I doubt they did anything about them. Gross motel will never stay here again.

The motel is currently under renovation, but the rooms (at least the ones available to stay in!) are unaffected. The owner is a friendly and helpful fellow, who let us view the rooms before choosing if to stay. The rooms were spacious and clean, the beds and wifi all fine. We got a discount because of the renovations, but really they didn't affect us.

I have to admit if i wasnt on a budget i wouldnt have even bothered entering this place from the exterior appearance. The building looks fairly outdated. The price was reasonable so i checked in. My room was located above the garage, which again seemed a little bit iffy, but as soon as i got up there the rooms were very modern on the inside. The service was good from what i experienced. But the room had clean towels and a bed which was all i needed so there was no need for me to call the front after checknig in. Overall a good place for a good price, i would recommend it to anyone who just needs a good nights rest.

I have stayed at the Sunrise four times prior to the visit and never had any problems. I stayed for a week in a room above the garage and the day I checked out I noticed I had huge swollen bites all over my back and neck and arms. I went to my doctor at home right away and he said it was bed bugs. I contacted the manager at the Sunrise and told him all this and he said there is no way they have bed bugs and that I have had an allergic reaction. He denied they had a problem and was unapologetic. It is unfortunate because this hotel is a good deal and when I return to Regina I will have to find another reasonably priced hotel.

I stayed in their king suite because they had no other room available when I checked in. I was not ready to pay extra but when I saw the room I couldn't resist to stay.I was really surprised that medium size motel like this can have such a executive suite with fancy hot tub and fireplace.Me and my gf had a wonderful stay and would definitely like to stay in the future.

We had driven 12 hours when we got Regina, and it was just getting dark around 6pm..We looked this hotel up on the computer, as one of the only pet friendly we could find for a reasonable price.. When we went to check in I was told that I would have to have a "smoking" room as they are the only rooms they allow dogs in.. I do smoke but not in a room with my children... we got our room key and went to find our room.. which looked NOTHING like the photo's on the Internet!!! we were on ground floor, tucked into a dark corner..with a bug light strapped right above our door.. thank goodness it was winter, would hate to see us with dead bugs falling on us trying to get into our room... when we got into the room, it not only smelled of stale smoke.. but stale booze.. it was horrible.. we thought we could just make the best of it for a night.. then we find out that there is no locking the door from the inside chain lock was broken.. thought opening a window could take the smell away a bit, however none of them opened.. the older kids jumped in the shower, and when they were done I went to bath the baby.. 3 months old.. get down on the floor, look over at the toilet, only to see, black, dirt, mold ick on the floor behind the toilet..
decide to go out side the door for a smoke, and the young man in the room next to me, comes out to apologies for already being loud, and they are having a couple of girls over for the night so if the noise get's to much to come bang on his door... What kind of place did I just put my family in????!!!!!!!!!!! go to the front desk with this list of complaints, and now my party neighbour, and ask them to move us to another room... nope we can't move, because of the dog.. but she did call the party room, as I stood right there in the office, talked to them like she knew them personally and had them leave before the "girls" came over...when she was done, I asked her if now I might have a problem with pissed off ppl with no place to party, she said she could watch me from the camera, and make sure I was safe to get back to my room.. we did have a quite night, too bad none of us slept very well,, the beds were not that comfortable, sheets were starched so much they were scratchy, and the sheet on my bed was ripped down the side... we all had horrible headaches from the smell in the morning, and no in room coffee pot to help get the morning going.. This is NOT A FAMILY hotel... I WILL NEVER stay here again!!!!!!!!!! We didn't even wait for "Sunrise" to get the hell out of there!!!!!
