One-night stay over the Easter weekend. Positives (1) Well located; inside the old city walls. Most places of interest to tourists are within walking distance. (2) Hotel has a some parking within its compound (costs extra). This is rare for the old city and is convenient if you're driving. Reserve your parking when you book your room. (3) Reasonable price...

Le Champlain Hotel was extremely comfortable, quiet and yet still friendly. The room we had was spacious and comfortable. You are close to everything and we walked to see the sites from the hotel. The staff were helpful and we loved the wine bar.

My wife and I spent three nights here and had a wonderful time. The hotel is located right in the middle of Old Quebec, within easy walking distance to many attractions, which suited us perfectly since we were traveling without a car. One note to those arriving by bus or train: While it looks close to Gare du Palais on...

Thank you to the reviewer who suggested booking Le Champlain with the owner. It was a delightful hotel, tastefully renovated and handy to all the Old City sights. Because we booked with them, a lovely breakfast was included in the cost which was also reduced by $5, if you told them prior to midnight that you didn't need a towels...

We spent Easter weekend at Hotel Champlain. Booking directly with the hotel vs any website got us the best price plus free breakfast. Location is sensational. The building is new, and it has its own parking (limited spaces). The rooms we used (2 families) were very spacious and clean, bathrooms were modern and fairly spacious. TV program had hundreds of...

Perfect location for walking around Old Quebec. Everyone was very friendly and we could park our car - a minivan - right at the hotel. We had a room without a view - which was perfect since we were there to wander the city and not to sit in a hotel room. Excellent price even with paid parking and breakfast.

We were there on 4/17-4/18 2017, just one day trip. Hotel was small but nice and cozy, very good location. 15min walk to the train/bus station. Quiet street, easy to get around. I recommend to visit there in Summer. April is still very cold.

Dear mik215, Thank you for taking the time to post your review on Trip Advisor. We agree with you that our location is very good – right in the heart of the upper-town, steps from shops, restaurants and bars, walking distance to attractions and sites, easy access to the lower-town, and in proximity to the train/bus station. Quebec City is...

The hotel is cozy, with a cute lobby and a espresso machine. The staff were fine. Hotel is located on a quiet street, and is only a 3 minute walk to Chateau Frontenac and it is minutes walk from Rue St. Paul. It is extremely convenient. We had a junior suite on the 4th floor, with the pull-out couch. The...

Our location in the heart of the upper-town is indeed and excellent base from which to explore everything that Old Quebec City has to offer. The staff was really friendly and provided all the necessary information. We went as a family group of six people and booked two separate rooms. I requested both rooms to be situated on the same floor and was very happy the staff was able to accommodate this. The rooms were very clean, spacious and had a nice view of the...
