I stayed here with work for a few days. I found the welcome from the staff on the front desk to be excellent. Car parking turned out to be an issue, with no onsite parking and having to use a nearby parking lot instead. The...More
We had never visited Quebec City before, and were not aware of the summer festival. One of the outside free main stages is across the street from the hotel, and the large open air main stage is a short walk away. It is an easy...More
We stay here twice a year and the reason is the location, but it is the friendly and fantastic service that keeps us coming back! Alexandre at the front desk is so helpful and Olivia in the restaurant is great. Everyone at this property is...More
This hotel is a classic Marriott property situated in walking distance of all of your Old Town sites. While the layout is a little tight at times, it still offers all that you need: lobby bar, restaurant, spa and great service. Prices are steeper die...More
This unique Marriott is right across from Porte Saint-Jean, part of the walled fortifications of Old Quebec City. This gives you easy access to the old town, which is quite convenient. The hotel seems to have been retro-fitted into an older building, which results in...More

You are extremely close to the old city...probably a 5-7 minute walk before the shops and restaurants actually start (or less). Although some of the streets are cobblestone, not all of them are...nor the sidewalks so you should be fine for walking. If staying at the Marriott...if you exist the hotel on the side that has the courtyard...the street right in front of you brings you right into the old city. Ask the Concierge if you are unsure...the staff at the Marriott are very helpful. If you want to visit the Citadel which I strongly recommend...that walk will be a bit longer and a bit uphill...but the view of the city and surrounding area once on the hill will be worth the effort! It is truly a beautiful city and lots of great restaurants as well.
