Well worth the visit, workmanship is fantastic. Even though it was a very cold day we really enjoyed the experience. Several buildings, church, hotel, bar, all constructed from snow & ice. Some suites had fireplaces and most rooms had ice sculptures. Lighting under the beds and within the walls. About 40 hotel rooms & suites. Did not stay overnight, too...

Always wanted to go and we're not disappointed. Tour guide Kayley was intelligent knowledgeable and passionate. We enjoyed the behind the scenes tour and making our glass AND subsequent drink. We were going to tour after this a kayley made sure all was good and worked out with Megan (I think) roster conflict so kayley took us around. This was...

its location is quite commercialised so you won't necessarily get the feeling of 'snowbound isolation'. Definitely an enjoyable experience but I'm not sure I would want to stay here. The architecture of the snow and ice sculpting is amazing and very beautiful, there's a good choice of drinks in the bar and most are served in glasses made of ice!...

Even if you don't stay overnight, it's a great day visit, do the tour, go to the ice bar. The Behind the scenes visit is worth it! The hotel is unique, and changes every year, so worth going back at least once a year for a tour if the amazing rooms and of course the bars.

I have been visiting the Hotel de Glace each year since 2009. It keeps drawing me back to it. Just the vision of all this pure ice and what they carve out of it is stunning! A chapel ,a discotheque, a bar, suites that each have their theme, a contest amongst architecture student to produce the most amazing room is...

There is no way that this experience can be improved--unless it is a clearer explanation of the process ahead of time. The Ice Hotel is located on the premises of Valcartier Hotel, which is located about 30 minutes north of Quebec City. When you arrive, you check in at the Valcartier Hotel--itself a wonderful property. You will be given a...

We stayed in the walrus room and we were worried that the price we paid would skew our expectations but we loved every minute and every penny was well spent. Our package included a theme room in hotel de glacé, a room in Valcartier hotel for changing/showers/just in case it's too cold, access to the spa with an indoor pool(heated)/hot...

Yes, this is a good as the "Harbin China Ice festival". The best part is I do not have to travel another 5000miles. It was fun to see how creative each room is designed. Sculpted bar, pews, beds and cups. The best part was the Maple syrup ice lollipop for $5.

We visited the ice hotel, but did not stay as overnight guests. We visited not knowing what to expect, and we were blown away by the detail and creativity in the guest rooms! The regular rooms were prison like (austere with a bed and ice night stand) but the themed rooms were absolutely amazing, with themes ranging from Santa's Workshop...

The ice hotel is a singular adventure, a bucket list item, a magical mix of luxury and rough travel. Glistening good fun. Has to be seen to be believed. Ornate ice sculptures for beds. A nightclub comprised entirely of ice. Even a chapel.
