Quiet location, easy walk to Chateau and restaurants. Parking is down the hill but didn't use the car often. The owners are very accommodating and take good care of everyone. Rooms are small, but clean and ours had a nice view of the river and harbor. Would stay here again.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is a little bit older bc it is historic and very European like. if you're going for luxury, this is not your place, but it was comfortable, clean and the family running it could not have been any nicer. The breakfast was rather basic but was sufficient.People really make the difference... More

We recently stayed here for 3 nights and other than the great location (right in the Old City) it's a pretty poor hotel. Pros: Great location. Cons: 1. Signs everywhere telling not to do things which is really not a great first impression. There were signs in our room telling us not to turn the air con below 72 degrees... More

Though I will agree that the front desk staff is friendly and considerate; they let us check in early and were always very polite, the hotel's prior reviews surprise me. Pros: Continental breakfast is provided, lovely terrace on the roof, and pretty good location. Our room was large, though dated. Communal sitting areas are available, though the only shared TV... The location is perfect and our room had a good view of the harbor from the balcony. The room was clean and quiet and the bed was comfy. Minuses included 2 flights of stairs, an old and cramped room, a 5 minute walk to $15/day parking, tiny/thin towels, and a very sparse included breakfast. But considering how much cheaper was... This hotel is located between upper and lower Quebec. It is nothing fancy but clean and personable. The Ngor family that run it are quite wonderful and hard working. Be sure to check out the paintings done by Sithearky Ngor. The included breakfast is self-serve, fruit, cereal, juice, coffee, muffins, bagels, toast, boiled eggs...not fancy but sufficient to carry you... More

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is walking distance to everything, and the place itself has a quaint charm. We enjoyed heading up to the patio in the evenings. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the heart of the old city at a reasonable price.

This is a century old building that overlooks the harbour. It was hard to find(one way streets) and parking was ten minutes away. You walk uphill every where in old Quebec City, so when you get to the hotel you keep walking up...no elevator. There is a beautiful outdoor patio off the roof top which overlooks the harbour. There is... More

This hotel is ideally located for exploring both upper and lower Old Quebec. Considering its location it is very reasonably priced. It is an old building, full of character, if a little dated. However it is clean, provides an adequate continental style breakfast and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We would have no hesitation in using this hotel... More

We stayed here for the labour day long weekend. Location could not be better. Hotel had a roof top patio over looking ths St. Lawrence River. Excellent for evening drinks. Walking distance to everywhere you would visit in old Quebec. Breakfast was included. Best part was the host. Very nice lady, knowledgeable and helpful. Will return here no doubt.
