The hotel staff was extremely helpful and courteous during our stay. We could not have asked for a more service oriented team of professionals. Though we arrived well in advance of our check-in time, the staff was kind enough to store our bags and park our car so that we could spend the day without worrying about parking. The Hotel...

Thank you for your comments! The hotel is indeed right in the heart of Old Quebec. We are a few steps away from shops, restaurants, Chateau Frontenac, the Dufferin boardwalk and all major events. We always try to better our services and the hotel will have some changes soon, keeping the old world feel with some revamped furnishing or services....

his is the oldest hotel in Canada. It has been renovated but maintains the old world class in their public rooms and restaurant. Our room was nice (no desk to work at though) the beds were comfortable and we had a nice view. The bathroom was large but not much shelving space for toiletries. I improvised. The restaurant serves and...

Unfortunately, did not have a good experience here and will not recommend! Let's start off with our check-in: Check-in time is supposed to be 3pm as per our reservation. We arrived at 3:30pm and was told that check-in is supposed to be at 4pm ---even though i showed the reception desk employee that our reservation confirming check-in time is 3pm....

Location is the best. For similar cost suggest not to take breakfast inside hotel as lots of choice outside with excellent view. Friendly staff and able to get the room at 11;00am ! ... as it is a Thursday. Point to note opposite hotel a construction site in progress, wake me up in 7:30am. Luckiy it got quiet on Saturady.

Checked in early as we arrived in port by cruise ship- Early reservation clerk was rude and advised would not have room ready until "later". We happily checked bags and headed out for a day of walking and wine tasting festival- Arrived back at 320pm today to another clerk who was rude in manor of asking for voucher (of which...

If you are visiting Quebec City and are not there on business, but are there to see the sights of the old city, don't waste your money on the Frontenac, don't stay at the Hilton or Sheraton in the "new city, go with the Clarendon. It's right in the center of the old city and you can reach anywhere in...

The hotel was in a great location and the service was fine. However, for the price I thought the room was way to cramped. With furniture and two double beds there was little room to move around. I had to put the second suitcase in a closet. I also thought parking was very overpriced. But again, can't beat location.

I stayed at the Clarendon in Quebec in July. The weather had been unsettled with rain so the location was much appreciated. We did not have a car so we were able to walk to all of the tourist spots easily. The hotel room was small but comfortable and clean. I recommend the Clarendon

Terrific location so close to all the sights. Great staff of younger people. Small room but for the price it was good. And, it was quiet (no street, hallway, etc. noise). It's an old building and even though we were on the 6th floor, I could smell breakfast in the morning.

It was my first time in Quebec, we booked a standard room, it was a narrow for a double bed, but it was ok, the only concern was the window, we couldnt open it and the air didnt changue. The personal were always friendly and treated all the time very good.

Thank you for your helpful coment on Tripadvisor. The hotel's room division was mainly kept as it was in 1870. In fact, this is contributing to the hotel's charm. Some modification had been made is the last year to give bigger and noise proof rooms to our guests. We are very happy to read that you enjoyed our delicious breakfast...
