Spent 2 nights here. Hotel is in fantastic location. Staff are friendly but work at a slow pace. Rooms are comfortable but small but this is to be expected in central hotel. Breakfast was very nice buffet. Biggest letdown was a Wifi, advertised as free & high speed, but we couldn't get it to work in either of our two...

Dear guest, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are indeed experiencing temporary issues with our WIFI network since we are currently going through major changes in order to improve our internet. Until everything is settled, a basic service (emailing) is still available for free. Our business center in the lobby is also available for our...

When considering this hotel (oldest in Quebec and right in the centre of town) one has to weigh up what compromises you are happy to make for character & history. The bedroom & bathroom were clean but cramped, the shower was good but there was no room for a chair in the bedroom to sit on and the air con,...

Dear guest, Thank you for your review. We are sorry we did not have a room ready for you earlier. Concerning the view, depending on the room type reserved, it is not always guaranteed. However, if you mention the fact that you would like to have a nice view when you reserve with us, we are more than happy to...

I was delighted that I was able to get a great rate at one of Canada's finest hotels . In the centre of Old Quebec, this charming hotel has small but beautifully appointed rooms and we ate at the hotel restaurant and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel for charm and character.

We found the hotel staff to be friendly and helpful making our stay more relaxing. Best hotel bed I have ever slept in. Quiet, clean and nicely decorated room. A short walk by foot to many historic points of interest, Cafe's and shopping areas. We also enjoyed the sit down breakfast (hot, tasty, and well presented).

I really enjoyed staying here. Very historic feeling and the staff were very nice and helpful with nearby recommendations. The rooms are smaller than really modern hotels but they also avoid that feeling of living in a sparse, sterile environment which I hate. I recommend this place

This place is rather affordable and has great character and history. The boys (7 and 10) and I spent a night here late last summer and we brought my wife along for two nights this summer. The staff is nice and efficient. The rooms are small by modern standards, as this is the oldest operating hotel in Quebec city, but...

The location of this beautiful hotel (the oldest building in Canada I think?) is perfect. Everything from quaint shops to gelato to restaurants to Tim Hortons (!) is a short walk away. The staff are very friendly and helpful with tips on where to eat and what to see. What's great is being inside the fort. The rooms are a...

We stayed 6/27 for one night and it's our first trip to Quebec city. Just 2 minutes walk to the board walk. Hotel is very nice, we got the top floor(6 1/2) facing the mountain, window is small oval shape quite unusual, I liked it. Night scene very nice. Room is kind of small with two double beds but it...

Stayed 2 nights, location is great if you are planning to walk the old town, parking a bit steep in price, room quaint and clean, reminded us of places we stayed in Europe. We booked this hotel after reading great reviews. Overall we were not disappointed as the location of this hotel is definitely one of the best in the tourist area of Old Quebec. Dear guest, Thank you for your review. We have different room types available, at different rates, from the economy queen room to the executive king room. As for the internet, we indeed have been experiencing some code issues, as we've been going through some changes in order to improve the quality of our service. We are very sorry about that....
