My wife and I visited Quebec City and stayed at the Port Royal hotel. This is an older building that has been converted into hotel rooms and suites. We stayed in one of the deluxe suites. It was large and roomy. We liked having a kitchen as we were able to pick up some fresh croissants and enjoy them in...

We booked our hotel through expedia after a few days research on where to stay. I finally picked hotel port royal for the walking distance to the old Quebec, the hardwood floors, bathroom (from the pictures), and the only fees here are the parking which is $25 per day, pets are welcome at $25 per pet per night. I regret...

When we first walked in the place looked great, with a nice big room (king bed, pullout, kitchenette). However, upon opening the sofa bed we realized the sheets hadn't been changed after the last guests, with food crumbs still on it. The main, king sized bed was also sloppy, with untucked sheets that looked like they weren't changed either. We...

A well-maintained and refurbished hotel with nice modern touches and spacious suites that make for a comfortable stay. Certainly on the basis of size of rooms, the prices are good ... that said the real selling feature is the location of the hotel which in the Old Port is literally across the street from solid blocks of art galleries and...

Dear EatsWritesShoots Thank you for your greats coments. The Port Royal Hotel is ideally located in the Old Port of Quebec. Close to all the most popular services and restaurants in Quebec City. If morning nuisances occur, they are caused by municipal services operating in all cities. The charm of the city has its disadvantages but this enchanting frame makes...

The location in the old port and the value in this small hotel are highlights. Our room was a deluxe suite which was spacious and clean though the laminate floors are a bit cold in winter and due to the small window in this historic building the suite is very dark. Would suggest brighter lights and lighter walls. Nice and...

Very helpful and friendly staff at the front desk and the pub. Breakfast was good. A great location easy walk to the main sites. Room was spacious. Comfortable bed. They had a noon checkout time which allowed a last walk before leaving. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful part of Quebec City with easy walking to all the historic sites. Cute little hotel with excellent service at an incredible rate. Condo like rooms meant the whole family was comfortable and had everything they needed in the morning and at night in the room.

This hotel is right in the heart of Old Quebec City! Walking distance to Chateau Frontenac, waterfront and tons of cute shops!! Rooms were clean and smelled fresh. Updated bathrooms. Floors were old, but clean so we weren't bothered- it's a historic building! New comfy bed. Hotel breakfast was slow but nice! Get there early!

We had a one-bedroom suite for a week while in Quebec City to enjoy the winter carnival. Accommodations, location and staff were all excellent. This is an old building that has been completed renovated inside so you have the benefit...
