There's is a space between the door and the floor which make the noise outside very easy to hear. The staff refuse to admit that the place is noisy. Thier answer is that its a ''2 star hotel''. No service, no breakfast. You should avoid...More
Centrally located, highly caring, friendly and knowledgeable staff and management, convenient beds, well heated and a/c-ed, Metro + public parking (12 C$ a day) are a block away, and really very good value for money.
We'll be back and definitely recommend it to others.
The place looked okay (no more) - the pictures on the site are misleading - this is a VERY basic place, I thought the room was clean and of course the no refund policy meant I couldn't leave when I first got there.

The rainbow pillars of Beaudry Métro Station shepherd the way into to The Village, one of the largest hubs for gay and lesbian culture in North America. With an open layout and a congenial aura, the refurbished buildings along Rue Sainte-Catherine pay a special homage to menswear and to caffeine, with showrooms and cafes. By morning, the antiquing gems along Amherst Street are packed with collectors. An incredible party
spot, The Village comes alive at night, when clubs, bars, and dance halls open their doors and the revelry is high, epitomised by the fanciful trimmings of the apropos Oscar Wilde building. From May to September, the area closes to automotive traffic, allowing restaurant terraces to pour onto the streets, creating a dynamic sense of community. Les Boules Roses, thousands of pink baubles, are hung to welcome in the festivals and celebrations, including Montréal en Arts, Divers-Cité, and the Pride Parade.
Almost in front to our hotel in an underground public parking with more that 200 places. Don't need to reserve in advance. The prices is $12 x 24 hours.
