I stayed at the 3* Hotel Les Suites Labelle for the first time, although I’ve been in Montreal before and I discovered that it’s a really great little find at a great price. It’s almost next to the bus station at Berri which makes it so convenient for anyone arriving from other cities by bus. The airport Bus 747 stops...

This is a simple, clean hotel. Rooms are large due to kitchenette. Hot breakfast is included (typical of other hot breakfast hotels serve). Reception and customer service was terrific. They sell tickets to La Ronde at best prices I was able to find. The bed was ok. A little saggy, but comfortable. One thing I didn't appreciate is the hotel...

Stayed seven nights over a two-week period. Location is excellent - just a block from Berri-Uqam metro hub and the 747 airport bus. Gare Centrale (VIA Rail) can be reached in 20 minutes by metro. Plenty of Latin Quarter dining options nearby. Rooms are spacious, pleasant and clean, with kitchenettes. Located a block from main streets so is generally quiet....

We found the hotel great. Receptionist on our arrival was super helpful and took the time to help orientate us with Quebec City as it was our first visit. She was wonderful. Hotel room was lovely and facilities more than we expected and free breakfast great and an added bonus.

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
