Spent two nights there for work - which was pre-paid by work (same industry), so I can't comment on the prices - but from what I can gather, it's within the norm. It's a quaint boutique hotel in a very ideal location - close to the pedestrian area filled with shops and restaurants and a very short walk downtown. Was...

The staff is very nice. The neighborhood is good. Rooms are very comfortable and quiet. The hotel had a nice looking breakfast but we walked to china town and church. We utilized the valet the attendant was very prompt and gave very good directions.

Stayed here for a romantic/birthday getaway in Dec 2014. The front desk staff had great customer service and were always very helpful. The room was amazing and we were truly sad to leave. The restaurant had great food and we even got free drinks from locals celebrating near our table. We are looking to book here again for the summer....

We stayed here for two nights, though not consecutively. The service was fabulous. A special thank you to Anita and Marie Eve who made our stay extra wonderful with their kind and warm attitude. The rooms were very comfortable, particularly the bedding and mattresses; a lot of thought and planning has gone into making it a more "upscale" experience, which...

We had stayed at this hotel last year for the Jazz Festival and enjoyed our stay. It is a great location for the festival so this year we booked again. All was well until Friday night when we got no sleep because of the blaring music and the vibration that shook our room. Awful! Staff was very dismissive the next...

My partner and I checked in July for the weekend. There was zero sense of welcoming, we didn't even know there was a gym, restaurant, breakfast until we saw signage.... There is no mini bar- nothing. So strange! Room service took 1 hour 20 minutes and the menu had maybe 8 items on it. Rooms look much better online. Avoid...

Stayed here July 16. ideal hotel for visit to Montreal , walking distance to city centre. Staff are very friendly apart from girl behind bar. She annoyed us by insisting we pay tips for her service even when we only had 2 diet cokes. In England when in a hotel it is part of the service. We change rooms first...

I think I read every review on Tripadvisor trying to find the perfect hotel for our visit to Montreal. We hit a home run with Hotel 10! For the price, you cannot beat this location! You are literally right on the Plateau -- with all of the bistros of Rue St-Denis and the funky shops of Boulevard St-Laurent just steps...

Clean, beautiful, nice designed room. Had a Junior Suite I think and it was perfect for a night with girlfriend. Close to anything you would need (party, sightseeing, restaurant, downtown) the spot is more than great ! Thanks again to Patrick over there, helping us and making our stay incredible !

I think we've stayed at Hotel 10 (fka Opus Hotel) maybe 5-6x at this point. It's central, clean, stylish, quiet and comfortable. Only gripes would be that you have to request a room away from the club to avoid the noise. We've also had issues with other hotel guests when they are partying and a bit inconsiderate to other guests....

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
