Centrally Located. Short Drive to Notre-Dame Basilica, Old Montreal and Mont Royal. Very Friendly Staff. The Lady Host recommended us a great family friendly restaurant just 1.0 KM from the hotel; The Restaurant Bercy.

It's start with the staff: Shahrzad, Ghafferri & Rachid were extremely friendly people (family) to help you out in any way possible.....get a Metro card for transportation---Bus 34 is right outside the door on the corner & will take you to the Subway station which will take you anywhere....the staff also told me where to go to have fun with... We stayed at this place for 1 night. The hotel and amenities were good for the price we paid. Basic breakfast (Bagels, Cerials, Breads, Muffins and Beverages - Coffee, tea, OJ), Free Wifi and clean rooms and clean bathrooms. I was impressed that they had mattress protectors and the box protectors and thereby reducing the risks of bed bugs -... More

There's nothing wrong I can say about the staff. They are very welcoming, easy-going and gay-friendly. The room was a bit pitiful though. It seemed old and filled with fake fainting flowers. Our private bathroom was simply a small wardrobe with a toilet (no sink, we had to get out to wash our hands). The TV only had news and... More

Located with easy access to Montreal, the Auberge Manoir Ville-Marie is a gem in a quiet, safe neighborhood. The owners are family friendly and very helpful with details on what to see in Montreal, how to get there and what is available in the immediate neighborhood. Parking on site is available making it a non-issue for those of us with... More

You get more than you pay for here. Free parking, Free wi-fi, Free continental breakfast. I had another good trip (April 2016) a 4 night stay. The skyline view of the bridge at night is stunning. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is within a few blocks walk of the underground metro grid. In the off months they are... More

We travelled to Montreal for my birthday and got the Getaway suite with the jacuzzi. It was amazing. The ambiance in this building is very relaxing and easily romantic. They were extremely helpful in helping us navigate the area and gave us a city map and explained the transit system and what stops we needed to take. The owner even... More

This property is a Canadian Heritage site. As such, you won't find the most recent decor. It's an interesting place to stay. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice, but as stated previously, it's not your 5 star hotel....you're only paying a fraction of the cost. It has free parking...a definite bonus. Continental breakfast was ok....pastries... More

My family of 4 really enjoyed staying at this hotel over night. Room and bathroom were clean, bed was comfortable, owner was very nice and friendly. I can't talk about location as we didn't explore it by feet but it was a very fast drive to old city by car.

If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay that is clean and is an inviting bed and breakfast style hotel, this is the place. If you want a chain style hotel and are concerned about cosmetics then it might not be for you. I assume it is inexpensive because it is in a slightly poorer section of town... More

Staying in Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)

Neighbourhood Profile
Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)
Named for the Olympic Stadium complexes built for the 1976 games, the Olympic Park and the surrounding neighbourhood of Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa) make up an invigorated area dedicated to "Space for Life." Around the Olympic Village's arenas and stadiums, Rue Sherbrooke welcomes exploration of its sculpture gardens decorated in the works of Jean-Paul Riopelle and its museum culture headed by the historical Château Dufresne. Maisonneuve Park offers interactive experiences at its bio-dome, insectarium, planetarium, and botanical gardens. For a change of scene, the gentrified space along Rue Ontario Est is packed with the city's newest, edgiest cafes, where an imaginative, youthful crowd sips foamy cappuccinos. A visit here is incomplete without stepping into the vast halls of the Maisonneuve Market, with flower stalls, wine depots, and local produce.
