Stayed here recently for two nights well supposed to be for two nights left after one. when we arrived we checked in. we entered our room which clean to the eye but with further inspection this was not meant to be.... there was two hairs on the pillow and on the blanket/sheets this caused me to think they had not...

This hotel is very much like countless others in this part of Montreal: excellent location and not a lot else. The décor is dated, the bed not the most comfortable, the showers and bathrooms not the cleanest. BUT, it includes parking, an amazing location (a quick walk to downtown, the Latin Quarter, the Plateau, Chinatown and Old Montreal) and is...

This hotel is in an older row house type of building. 3 floors, VERY narrow stairs and halls, no elevator. We were on the third floor, and if you are healthy and don't mind slugging your bags upstairs, it is a chore but manageable. It was fine for me because I had 2 young strong sons to help me, but...

This hotel is quite cheap for its location and the parking is free which is great. Don't expect anything fancy but it's clean and our room didn't have a smell. Breakfast was served in room, it was small but good.

I made reservations directly with the hotel in Feb for a Aug trip. It was for one night on the start of our trip to Quebec City, and then again for one night on the return from our trip to Quebec City. We got there and they tell us, I have your name and dates on THIS piece of paper,...

Given how much my friend and I paid for our room (~$70), I was surprised at the quality of it. It wasn't the best, but the room was good enough for us for the night. Having off-street parking was a nice bonus and although the bathrooms were shared, they were only shared between two rooms so it was fine. The...

I came into town for one night to see a show, and other then it being too expensive for what you get it was fine. Nice and quiet, and clean, helpful service. The included breakfast is pretty meager, one piece of toast with jam, a small cup of juice, and a small hot beverage. There are No cups in the...

I believe hotel cant be in a better spot. but it is really very poorly administrated or better say over pricey. with 30 more bucks you can have the Hilton or Holiday Inn and sleep like a king. I travelled with my family and I don't know what is happening with some people reviewing in Trip advisor. I don't know...

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
