This B&B was very conveniently located in Montreal within walking distance of Downtown, Old Town, Latin Quarter and subway stop to get to further locations. Located on a side street, this very old townhome was charming. The host was very warm and friendly and helpful. We stayed for 3 nights and delicious breakfast was different each morning with eggs or...

Before I get into the grist of this review, let me say that the proprietor Angelica is a very nice lady who tried to make our first (and last) trip to this property a good one. Unfortunately we were booked into the Vienna room, so small that one couldn't swing a cat.(Just as well we're animal lovers) The bed was...

As tourists on vacation from the US, we stayed three nights at Angelica Blue and were continuously delighted by this charming, comfortable and conveniently-located B&B. Lyne is an excellent hostess and took very good care of us. Highly recommended!

We chose this B&B for its location and reviews. From here, we were able to walk to Old Montreal, Downtown and the Plateau. We didn't end up using the Metro but there's a stop just a few blocks away. We stayed in the Royal room since it was the only one with a full bathroom suite private to the room....

I just had the best B and B visit ever! We stayed in the fabulous "Beach" Suite with jacuzzi! Five different theme rooms in total! After a day of walking around Old Montreal and eating and drinking we were ready for a deep sleep! The bed was so comfy! The owner Lyne spoiled us with yummy breakfast that included sweet...

Lyne new all our needs and what we wanted to achieve before booking us into the exact perfect scenario for our 3 night visit. The floor we stayed on was perfectly set up for our get together needs. I've just finished my 2 night stay while in Montreal for a business trip. I confess I am normally a hotel kind of guy but came to Angelica Blue at the recommendation of a friend. To say I was pleased is an understatement! Everything is clean, my room was large, comfortable and nicely appointed. The area is very quiet, I...

Lynn and Robert serve an excellent homemade breakfast. Spacious, clean and tastefully furnished bedrooms. You can do most things (Mont Royal, Old City, riverside, Quartier Latin, Underground World, China Town, etc) by walking

Room was comfortable but we had to go in to the hall for the bathroom‼️ Breakfast was delicious and made to order daily ‼ different menu every day‼️ Lynne and Robert ( the inn keepers) were very hospitable and accommodating ‼️ Free parking in the city is rare ‼️ Walk to everything‼️ I showed an interest in a silicone baking...

Very well situated in downtown Montreal-very convenient to shopping, Old Montreal and the Metro. Lynne even helped to show where to park our car. Wish my friend & I could have talked with her more but she was very busy that day. If you are looking for a place to stay while in Montreal and need a great location to...

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
