Decent, clean room/bed with modern bath, nice shower. Double windows kept street noise at bay. Convenient location for walking Downtown, Latin Quarter, and Old Port areas. Parking (additional fee) was nearby and reasonable. No particular frills (no breakfast, no pool, very small lounge) keeps prices very reasonable.

I stayed here whilst attending a conference in Montreal. It's located north of downtown, close to a Metro station and airport bus drop off point. Staff were very friendly on check in. Rooms are very clean and large, wi-fi free and fast (though it's open access, so I'd recommend using a VPN to make sure everything is secure), and -...

Excellent location. Just a few steps from main metro station (Berri Uqam) with 3 lines and bus station of 747 (airport bus) and 15 min by foot from Viux Montreal (old part of the city). Spacious rooms and comfortable beds.

I stayed at this hotel in February. It is a well appointed hotel that is located downtown. It has an old school feel which is quite endearing. The room is large and quite comfortable. It was a very pleasant stay and I recommend this hotel to others. Parking is additional and is somewhat inconveniently located depending on the time of...

You get what you pay for but in this case it's also a good value. Staff is great with suggestions and directions. Location is easy access even for me with a mobility issue. Rooms are a little small so get a 2 bed to gain space

It's been awhile but we still remember this as one of the best boutique hotelso we have ever enjoyed. Conveniently located at the edge of old Montreal yet near the convention center. Chocolate croissants were the best .

the hotel looks tired from outside, but the room was super clean, very comfortable king size bed, very friendly staff, and the location excellent. highly recommend. For sure, this is the hotel I will come back to if I were to come back to Montreal.

This was a little gem that looked a bit dismal on the outside and was warm, friendly, clean, safe and comfortable on the inside. The front desk clerks directed us to restaurants and accessing the Metro. Parking was about a block and a half away in an underground parking garage, not difficult at all. We were made to feel welcome...

Easy check-in. We stopped in here for a quick night on our way home to NY from a week in Quebec City. This wound up being one of the highlights of our vacation. The friendly staff at the front desk informed us that the Montreal Jazz Fest was going on and gave us all the details of the fest. Great...

My expectations were pretty low based on other reviews and other hotels I was seeing in the area but I was pleasantly surprised. My aunt lives 10 mins away from this hotel so my family was only looking for a place to sleep because we were spending our days with her. Our room had 2 queen beds and a pull...

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
