We had a lovely stay at the gite, our hosts were delightful and though the room was small it was very clean, with stylish bath. Breakfast was delicious, with local cheeses and fresh fruit every day. Would definitely stay again.

My husband and I stayed here July 2015. The breakfast was amazing, our hosts were congenial, and the room was clean and up-to-date. The b&b is conveniently located, and we really enjoyed our stay there.

The owners were both very friendly and accommodating. Gave some suggestions on what to visit and where to have dinner. The rooms were clean and of good size. The bathroom/toilet are indeed integrated in the room and separated from by a curtain. It did not bother us at all, but I can understand that this could be unacceptable for some...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for just one night in the Bretton room, which was bright and and comfortable with a gorgeous shower. The B&B is in an older house which was absolutely charming with a lovely little garden out front. Everything was immaculate and clean, with comfortable beds and luxurious linens. Carolle and Francois are friendly and welcoming...

We went up from Boston for a quick weekend getaway with friends. The location is great, close enough to walk to the Metro and close enough to walk to most other things. Our rooms were fantastic with large showers and comfortable beds. The breakfasts were delicious, with locally sourced jams and breads. And our hosts, I can't say enough about...

The B&B is opposite the main hospital and set as part of three buildings in a "courtyard" off the main road. Despite this, it was remarkably quiet. Carole and Francois were very helpful, even helping us in carrying our bags upstairs. The breakfast was wonderful, all very natural and well cooked and presented. There was a huge range of jams...

This B & B had excellent food. The breakfast was healthy, locally sourced and delicious. Our stay over three days provided us with three different amazing breakfasts. Our room was very spacious and well appointed, particularly enjoyed the natural toiletries provided. Carolle and Francois were excellent hosts, cooks and were very informative. The only slight downside of our stay was...

Wonderful hosts, lovely room (La Bretonne), very quaint property which looks as if it should be in the middle of the country, not a bustling city. Carole & Francois, our hosts, were welcoming, helpful and extremely friendly. The breakfast was a feast and set us up nicely for the day. I would highly recommend this B&B. It is quite a...

This is an exceptionally beautiful B&B in Montreal. The exterior is stunning and the rooms are modern and spacious. This is the first place that has actually wowed my husband when he walked in the door. We stayed in the La Russe room which is located on the top floor. It may be difficult for people with mobility issues to...

With my wife I stayed here in late August for 3 nights. The owners are lovely people and the rooms spacious and very clean. It is opposite the hospital and an ideal B & B for those connected in some way with that establishment. Being on the top of a hilly region and us over 70 we found it difficult...

Staying in Parc du Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Parc du Mont-Royal
Montreal was named for this hilly highland, where the tallest spot in the city overlooks its most extensive parkland. The greenspace of Parc du Mont-Royal is an outdoorsman's dream, with hiking trails and nature walks that cater to every season and level of athlete. In the winter, cross-country skiers, tobogganers, and ice skaters don their equipment by Beaver Lake and its pavilion, while the warmer months bring families and competitors to the pitches of Jeanne-Mance Park for tennis, soccer, football, baseball, volleyball, or a dip in the community pool. A perfect spot for a stroll or a picnic, the forest foliage is dotted with sculpture art and offers views of some of Mont-Royal's oldest edifices, the towering St. Joseph's Oratory and the mausoleums of Notre-Dame-des-Neiges. Home to musical celebrations and twilight snowshoeing alike, visit here to walk, write, rest, think, or just be.
