This hotel is convenient as it is close to my company's office but it is still a nice facility with comfortable rooms and a decent gym. I only stayed for one night but would recommend it if you are looking for a place downtown.

Stayed with my Wife and two teenage sons and enjoyed this location. We rented 2 rooms. The pool and exercise facilities were very good. My wife enjoyed the fact we could walk into the shopping mall + Eatons center from our Hotel without having to go outside. Kids loved the many food options and restaurants in the lower level Metro...

W always stay at this hotel when visiting Montreal. It's the best of any hotels we have stayed at. Fairmount Hotels can't be topped for service and quality. Breakfast buffet was outstanding. The quality of the rooms and amenities are unequaled

I checked into the Queen Elizabeth as part of a recent business trip to Montreal. My room 812, was small but well appointed. There was a reasonable size desk/table with east to connect and fast internet (which is free if you join up for the Fairmont President’s Club, which is also free). The TV was large with a reasonable variety...

We appreciate the Q.E. in Montreal and have been using it as a stop over for many many years. It is very conveniently located and my husband and I enjoy the "Voyageur" Bar which has a decent Menu and Wine list( ask for the extended wine list if you don't see what you like. The rooms are good quality commercial...

The staff is extremely attentive to your every needs. No loosing of our precious time at check-in and out. Rooms are very comfortable, but a new décor could be interesting. Love where the location is in Montreal, shopping just need to step underground and you are there, close to the Bell Center, good restaurant at the hotel.

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
