We stayed here during the New Year Holiday with our 2 adult sons. It was an Amazing stay. The addition of Laurie Raphael restaurant is a great bonus here but reserve in advance. The concierge was very helpful and we enjoyed the common lobby area space.

A great boutique hotel, very comfortable and creative space. The breakfast is more like what you'd find in Nordic countries, so it is a great...

This is simply an excellent hotel. The room was perfectly appointed and very comfortable. The staff was very gracious and attentive to every detail. We couldn't have been more comfortable here. For those who appreciate a great choice in quality beds and linens, you'll be very happy staying here. Pure luxury.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in this upscale, modern boutique hotel in October 2016 for four nights. it is very well located on a quiet street just south of Rue Sherbrooke. It is within walking distance of shops and museums. The rooms are very stylish, modern and well lit. Our room was a King, facing east...

We like Montreal and try to get there every summer for few days. Last stay we selected Le Germain because of the modern, European look and feel and we were not disappointed. Great breakfast, room and room service (few nice touches), good location. Prior years we stayed The Fairmount and Hotel Gault and we will definitely be back at Le...

Really like this hotel... very modern and all rooms are updated and have a light, clean look to them. Rooms are also well stocked. Service is good and helpful whenever I've been there. I've never had dinner there, but their breakfasts are really tasty... but what really tops it off is their home made peanut butter! It is absolutely stunning,...

Stayed at Le Germain overnight for two day escape to Montreal, on a holiday special. Staff could not have been more hospitable or accommodating, allowing us to check out at 6 p.m. with no extra charge, just in time to catch our train.Healthy and abundant breakfast included in pleasant dining room. Comfortable room. We will definitely be back!

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
