I totally loved the character of the place, the friendly service, the central location, and yummy breakfast. My room was downstairs and outside and was totally quiet and endearing - including the apparent storm door.

The hotel was very clean and had comfortable beds. The included breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. I loved the location. It's located on a street with lots of restarants and it's within walking distance to many points of interest. No parking on site but there are a few options nearby, including the library parking garage. I would...

Very nice place to stay for touring Montreal. We like walking, and were able to walk everywhere. There is also a subway station not too far away. Lots of restaurants nearby. The room was decent, quiet, and comfortable, nothing spectacular. Parking is a couple blocks away, but you can unload things right out front. Staff was very friendly. The breakfasts...

We were in Montreal to tour McGill University. My daughter may attend next year. The Hotel was perfect! Easy to find, friendly & helpful staff. Parking for the car was very close by and very inexpensive ($15 for 24 hours) compared with a recent stay in downtown Toronto where parking was in the $55 range. Breakfast was included and was...

This small hotel is located in the Latin Quarter, walking distance (within 30 minutes) to most tourist sites, 7 minutes from the 747 bus to/from the airport, and the Berri Metro station which is also 7 minutes from the hotel. The motel itself is impeccably clean, quiet exactly as described on their website. The staff is helpful and readily available....

The hotel is located on a one way street in downtown Montreal. I was glad that I had a GPS/SatNav to help me find, although it wanted me to the wrong way up the one way street. Parking outside is limited to dropping off bags and checking in. We had no problems in doing that. The parking arranged by the...

The location of the hotel is great (10 - 15 minutes walk to downtown and Old Montreal). Pubs and Restaurants are just around the corner on rue Saint Denis. Our room was within a courtyard and very quiet. It was very convenient to be able to book a parking space in close proximity to the hotel.

This is a lovely boutique-type hotel in the Latin Quarter and just a short walk to the old part of town. The immediate area has many good restaurants up and down Saint-Denis and just two blocks away is the Culinary Institute where one can have an extraordinary meal. The hotel staff is very helpful, and although there is no parking...

This was a fun place to stay. Very nice breakfast in an area that was open to the sidewalk. Room was fine with a nice bathroom. This is in a great location if you like to walk around and explore little cafes and shops.

It was our first time staying in an inn (compared to a chain hotel), and we did not speak French, but we did not have to worry because the staff was very welcoming and the room was nice. Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
