Rooms are okay and comfy, of course, if yu can, ask for a room located in frontthe Olypic village or on the Olympic stadium side. Location is great because the hotel is 1 block away from the great Montreal's subway...you can gain access to all the city...the subway is fast, efficient, clean and safe at any moment of the day...

We had to book this hotel last minute and were lucky to get a room at a reasonable price. The decor is a bit tired but the room was clean and the bed very comfortable. What nailed it for us was they allowed us a later checkout of 2pm to give us time to prepare for the funeral we had...

I stayed here for five nights, and booked it primarily on price and for free parking. Parking is barrier-controlled and didn't get full while I was there, but it was close. The staff were friendly and the rooms were well-equipped (for example, a Keurig instead of tiny quantities of instant coffee granules). However, the decor was very outdated. My room...

The room was actually a small suite and was great. The staff was very polite and helpful. The hotel is across from the Olympic stadium and a block from the Botanical Gardens. We would highly recommend this hotel

Our friend booked this hotel and we stayed for 2 nights, I'm not very impressed with the location, it's far from everything. This is an east side of Montreal and close to Olympic stadium. There's lot of construction going on and it was so hard to drive around due to traffic. The hotel alone is out dated and smells and...

The location was great, it's in a very calm neighborhood right near Olympic Park and the bio-dome, and about a 10$ uber ride away from downtown. The room was spacious and good looking, however the bathroom was horrible. The sink was in the hallway and had no door to separate it, only the bathtub and the toilet were separated. And...

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was polite and attentive on every interaction. The hotel has a restaurant and lounge. The staff spoke English and French. I enjoyed the breakfast coupon that included the tax and tip. I also ate dinner in the restaurant one night. Unfortunately, they were out of smoked meat. There are a few restaurants nearby,...

I had to stay here for business as everywhere else was booked. The rooms are not only outdated but the beds are incredibly uncomfortable. My sink wouldn't drain and so I had to use the water spairingly. When I finally fell asleep I was awakened by guys power washing the exterior at 6am and talking over the loud power washing...

Dear nathalie b, Thank you for posting a review for our hotel. We are sorry to learn that your stay was not enjoyable. Please rest assured that I will see with the restaurant as I find it unacceptable why the coffee was not allowed to be take out as they do have cups and breakfast boxes for guest. We will...

Frankly, I only stayed here because all the downtown hotels are full. This one seemed like my best bet. The rooms are comfortable enough and seem clean. What wasn't pleasant was the sheer amount of noise in the hotel. The corridors echo a lot and there was so much noise coming through even though i had an end room. Btw...

The hotel is dated. I had read reviews saying that some have stayed in refurbished rooms, but this is not my experience. The room an d the corridors around it all look like hey have been kept to an 80's fashion. The room was very dark, even with all the lights on. The bathroom was nice, obviously has been refurbished...

Staying in Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)

Neighbourhood Profile
Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)
Named for the Olympic Stadium complexes built for the 1976 games, the Olympic Park and the surrounding neighbourhood of Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa) make up an invigorated area dedicated to "Space for Life." Around the Olympic Village's arenas and stadiums, Rue Sherbrooke welcomes exploration of its sculpture gardens decorated in the works of Jean-Paul Riopelle and its museum culture headed by the historical Château Dufresne. Maisonneuve Park offers interactive experiences at its bio-dome, insectarium, planetarium, and botanical gardens. For a change of scene, the gentrified space along Rue Ontario Est is packed with the city's newest, edgiest cafes, where an imaginative, youthful crowd sips foamy cappuccinos. A visit here is incomplete without stepping into the vast halls of the Maisonneuve Market, with flower stalls, wine depots, and local produce.
