Since my wife and me we do not like the traditional hotels, we chose this apartment hotel. Situated in the very center of Montréal, it offers all you need for a pleasant stay. We had an apartment with two queen beds, it had enough space and all you need for a kitchen if you do not like to spend your... More

What I liked: The service was amazing, everyone was helpful and pleasant. The location is very good as well, close to the subway, shops, and restaurants. Free breakfast. Free WiFi. What was Ok: Room was good, nothing out of the ordinary. The TV did a weird sound when we turned it on/off, that was the only bad thing. The bathroom... More

L'Appartment is right in the heart of McGill University and just 3 blocks from a metro station. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The facility is fully equipped, providing dishes, glassware, cutlery, dish towels, detergent, a microwave, water cooker, 4-burner stove, and refrigerator. There were 2 TVs (one in the bedroom and one in the living room) and free... More

Location is only 3 or 4 blocks from McGill University, Metro (subway station) and St. Catherine Street. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment for 4 nights. Very clean, furniture a little old but bed was comfortable. Included breakfast (no hot food) but what they had (cereal, bread, bagels, muffins, hard boiled eggs, yogourt, apples, bananas, oranges etc) was very... More

Stayed here for 4 nights on our vacation through Quebec and we made an excellent choice. The Hotel is well located very close to the Central area with great transport links with Subway stations nearby - we used Place D'Arts. There are also some great restaurants heading towards Mont Royal Park and Rue Arthur. Check in process was easy and... More

This hotel, although an older building, was very comfortable, clean and well appointed in furnishings and kitchen. We enjoyed the free breakfasts .I am somewhat handicapped but I found the safety bar at the tub enough to use the shower safely. The friendly, polite desk staff are very helpful and give great concierge service. We loved the area ( near McGill... More

We enjoyed this hotel. Was there for a bachelorette. 2 bedroom suite was big enough for 6. The room itself was good, a bit dated but can't beat the price. The beds were okay not the best but decent for only one or two night sleeps. The breakfast was awesome and a wide variety. The elevator was very tiny and... More

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
