It was exactly as the others reviews stated - first class. Stayed two nights. As good or better than many first class hotels. Great location for walking and Metro station across the street, if needed. Very friendly efficient staff. Rooms were very clean and nice décor. Large bathrooms, did I mention clean. Highly recommend. At departure, I found out smaller...

Very nice hotel - clean, quiet and a great location (all of which is very subjective). Close to the downtown shopping - Eaton Centre, Place Ville Marie, etc. Approximately an 8 minute walk from the Central (downtown) railway station.

Very clean and the beds are the absolute most comfortable beds we have ever slept in.. so much so that we called the hotel directly after we left to ask the make and model of the bed so that...

We have traveled to Montreal many times but for some reason have never come across this hotel until now. The rooms are pristine and well laid out. The rates are very reasonable. The fireplace is a nice touch especially in the winter. Security is no concern as you can only access your floor with your door key. Staff was pleasant...

Very centrally located, friendly, comfortable. It would have been nice to have a little more affordable movies on the TV system... $16.95 per movie was a bit much but otherwise a very nice hotel, can get on the Metro very easily from there as well and within walking distance of theatre, eaton centre and shopping on Saint Catherines

This was my second stay at this stylish, friendly hotel and I thoroughly enjoyed it again. Truly a great location and the staff make guests feel welcome and appreciated - plus they are efficient. Good, friendly service and we had Nice large rooms with great wifi. The hotel bar was also good with friendly and attentive bar staff making good cocktails. Although we didn't eat in the hotel the food certainly looked high quality and it has good reviews. Looking forward to returning later in the year.

A nice welcome on arrival and valet parking and car was delivered very promptly when we needed it. Room very comfortable on the 12th floor so no traffic noise. Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
