The hotel is beautiful and has some fantastic qualities: ultra clean, modern, spacious room, unusually comfortable beds. The bathroom was enormous but had an unusual louvered wall between the shower and the bedroom: however, you could not see into the bathroom with the louvers closed. The hotel is convenient to the major shopping areas but is quite a walk from...

My partner and I stayed here for one night in mid-February. We loved the central location of this hotel. It was a quick walk from the train station (maybe 10 minutes) and easy to find. My favourite was being so close to the shopping on Rue St-Catharine; particular my favourite store Simon's! We were in town for a Montreal Canadiens...

Appropriate for both business and leisure travel. Great location next to McGill. Close to fine shopping and many restaurants, and to metro if one wants to go further. Got the lowest-priced room, was very nicely decorated and comfortable. Quiet room, as well.

We found this hotel to be very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and willing to help. We did not use their valet parking and chose to park in a public garage on Rue Victoria. Word of warning...the garage ceiling is VERY low and our Toyota Tundra literally just fit. Some of the hanging signs were hitting our roof!...

I stayed for 1 night in their standard king room. I couldn't find a single flaw with this room and I am super particular. The room was a good size, big comfy bed and the bathroom super clean with a stand alone shower. The little fireplace was a nice touch. Note that shower has a glass wall that faces into...

I have stayed at this hotel now the last three times I have been in Montreal and the location is excellent. Rooms are big, service is excellent and the doorman/valet's are the best in town! I would highly recommend this hotel.

The problem was with the valet parking. The driver didn't turn the lights off on my car and the battery was dead in the morning. We had to wait quite some time, no refund for parking was given. Very annoying

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
