Really nice stay! Basic apartments with many rooms, a living room and a kitchen, perfect for a stay during the weekend with friends in Montreal! Very great location for the low price; close to everything and the main streets

Dear Reader, Be aware of this property!!!!!, they will change you high cancellation fee 70% of booking fee. in my case, i booked the property for seven nights and I cancelled it after 45 minutes later. I got charged 70% of the cost which is unfair unfair... my booking agent contacted them to negotiate it lower cancellation fee, but they...

While a University Dorm, people consider this a hostel (?) and it is indeed very similar. You get clean beds and rooms, a decent night sleep and a stove, fridge, well-stocked bathroom. Prices are indeed good, but they charge high for Grand Prix weekend (no surprises there), thus be sure you check the rates before you go, as another place...

This accommodation is like a private room in a youth hostel, so it's great if you're a back-packer and need a break from a communal atmosphere. However, it is uncomfortable, dirty and very basic. I stayed here for two nights in the height of summer and boy was it hot. There is no AC in the rooms, only in a...

Extremely incompetent and consistently terrible customer service from the moment of check-in, til the nasty surprise a week later of having been double charged. Despite showing my initial booking confirmation email, they decided to "open up their own file" and charge me a different rate without first informing me, then on top of that, charge me as a no-show a...

I stayed here during osheaga, and was quite pleased for the price we payed. We brought our own fan after reading reviews, which was a good idea as it was relatively warm, but for the humidity and heat outside the room was not bad at all. The room itself was not too small, with a kitchen and bathroom. We had...

Amidst all other terrible experiences - bad service and management - I have had from sleeping in this accommodation on two different occasions, the most worrisome for me is that the room service steals renters belongings. I lost my belonging each time the room service came in to clean my room and the annoying part is that the management didn't...

Mainly one gets what one expects here: very plain rooms. The negative aspect was that my wife and I arrived and the front desk worker could not find a key to our room for our two night stay so he put us in a different room. The next morning we had to spend great than an hour changing back to our...

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
