Have to agree with the highly rated reviews I'm reading. The hotel is very small and there is no elevator, but they carry your bags and gave us parking. It's absolutely charming! The rooms are adorable and very comfortable. The hotel staff is pleasant and accomodating. There's free long distance calls and internet. Cute little restaurants nearby. Very enjoyable stay.

Last night we stayed in a hotel in downtown Montreal. It was a very pleasant experience. The general manager Mr. Turgay Demirdogan and his son were extremely friendly and made every effort to make our stay very comfortable. The hotel has only 8 rooms. The one we stayed was actually a suite with kitchen, living room and a bedroom with...

My family and I recently had the opportunity to visit Montreal and stay at this little gem. Tourgay and his staff truly bend over backwards to ensure that your stay is comfortable. The property has no evelator but is only 3 stories in height - even though I travelled with school aged children this was not an issue. The hotel...

We highly recommend it to everyone, but as a family of four we found it particularly comfortable and friendly. It's a real safe haven in downtown Montreal, quiet, conveniently located, walking distance to many places, no problem with inexpensive food supplies (it matters when you travel with kids), nice restaurants nearby. Service - amazing, very friendly and helpful. Special thanks...

I had only booked a studio but was upgraded to a suite at no additional charge. It was unusually hot in Montreal and Turgay, the general manager, gave me the controls for the air conditioner and showed me how it worked. He couldn't have been nicer. Great location on Parc between Sherbrooke and Milton; close to everything and only two...

We booked this solely on the reviews as newbies to Montreal and everything was as described. Turgay (the owner) and his son were absolutely charming and bent over backwards - even riding in the car to show us exactly where to park. We were also staying during St. Patrick's Day festivities and never heard a sound from outside. As others...

my daughter is a McGill student, so we have travelled to Montreal many times in the last 4 years, and Parc Suites hotel is a real find. we stayed in the studio, which is small but adequate for our long weekend trip. the king bed was comfortable with almost luxurious linen, the small bathroom with shower was adequate, but major...

This hotel was every positive thing the reviews said and more. I have stayed here twice visiting my son in McGill and enjoyed the proximity, friendly and polite staff, free parking, grocery store downstairs and the well equipped kitchen. Yes you can hear the sound of people coming up the stairs but so what you can hear that at home...

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
