Well, I'll be honest. I read the reviews and was scared to book here. But last minute plans and a budget made this one the winner. I called the place to book and got a cheaper price than advertised online. The gentlemen spoke pretty broken English but I'm the foreigner so really it's not his problem, the female that took over though was very knowledgeable and helpful. I based it off that impression and booked. Arriving, there was a little discrepancy with the agreed upon price but once he looked again and found my reservation we were good. Always use Visa just in case though. The room. Honestly, I have no complaints. It's outdated but clean and that's all that mattered to me. Everything worked like it was supposed to and I was about 15 minutes outside of Old Port, which is amazing. Uber was available also. It's right on the highway so car is really the only way to go. The closest bus stop was about 8 minutes away by vehicle and no train.

I need a place to crash for the night. I found this hotel on Travelocity for a reasonable price in comparison with downtown area. Did my reservation and payed up front for the room. Getting there the front desk guy could not find my reservation, I ask him to speak english, he started but on the third word he would go back to French with a lot of accent from india. After 40 minutes should my email, the reservation number and the payment received he found my reservation after a couple of call. After all this he ask me if I wanted to pay...."is already pay".
The reception look kinda nice and refurbish, but getting to my room (142) I open the door and I was back in the 40's and the from smell like it was never clean. I knew that this was not a good hotel, but I keep surprising my self.
30 min inside the room I hear somebody screening on the hallway, look outside the door everybody is trying to figure out what is going on. I get out of my room and walk on the hallway, first thing i see is a room with a glass box and a bunch of prostitutes. I keep walking getting outside i see this naked guy running around screening nonsense and breaking stuff. this goes on for a good hour until somebody not from the hotel call the cops.
But wait after all that I go out for drinks and on my way back to my room I get attack and bit up, of course nobody in the hotel offer help or call the cops. I had to do it my self and stay the night at the Emergency room.
Please stay away from this place and be safe.

We stayed at this hotel because we were desperate it was late and all other hotels we tried were booked. Guy who served us at the front desk was not friendly at all. We had a pay a $100.00 deposit with the room. Never had to do that before. There was 4 of us to the room and the room only had 2 towels and 2 face cloths. We should of kept driving.

This hotel is absolutely disgusting. Not only did it take my mother(who was visiting me from british columbia) 4 times to call before they stopped hanging up on her, but the website is complete false advertising. The pictures are nothing like what it looks like in that crap hole. You enter and everything is renovated and you think "oh wow" but as soon as you leave the front desk it is like walking into a dungeon. There is minimum lighting in the hallways and everything is sketchy. The front desk women that night was soooooooooo rude. She would speak to my mother and i in english no problem but as soon as we had one complaint my boyfriend(french speaking) tried to help and from that moment on the woman would not even bother trying to speak english to us she just looked at my boyfriend for constant translation. So lazy for this line of work. When the woman brought us to our first room, we enter and turned on the light which happened to be in the entrance only and there was no other lights in the room. No lamps, NOTHING! When we asked her what was with the lights she shrugged it off as it was normal and it was our problem which is when my boyfriend joined into the conversation. Finally we complained enough and my mother said she was not comfortable staying in that room so the clerk sighed loudly and huffed off to the front desk to talk to her manager. After talking with the manager we were brought upstairs and there is no elevator so we carried my mothers bags, no offer of help from anyone, and when we got in the room is was dirty, smelt of cigars and the door handle to the patio was broken and she said we could not use it. When we asked for another room she said it was the last room and if we wanted to leave we would have to pay half the price to cancel the resvervation! Yeah right! After we book this place a month in advance they give us these disgusting rooms after the hotel website is completely misleading with full on lies. The view is nothing more than a highschool football field and the pool is an outdoor diiiiirty pool not in use and just covered in sludge. Ive had cleaner hotels in motel 6 and other locally owned holes. We went down stairs, refused to pay the cancellation fee, and the manager agreed and we left. Bottom line, very rude service, even worse accommodation.

This place has been, thankfully, demolished.
Many years ago, it was a classy place, times changed and it gradually became a dive. I drove by a couple of times in the last week and noticed that something was missing. That iconic sign that I grew up seeing was gone!

Booked this motel months ago for a fun vacation. Checked in and our hotel room is a dump. Bugs, scratches on the furniture, hard beds, very dirty, little pool was black, tub was dirty, bathroom small, smelled like smoke (we had a non smoking room).Had to fight with the more to give us our money back. Don’t stay here.

My partner and I went to this hotel with another couple for a music festival and the room is what you expect of a motel. Couldn't control the A/C so the room was either humid or freezing. We didn't use it but they do have an outdoor pool which is a nice feature.

Unfortunately, my partner's family necklace was taken from the room when we were away. My partner left her necklace in the bathroom and when we got back that night the rooms had been cleaned and the necklace was gone. We searched our entire room and even got maintenance to check the drain with no luck.

Reception spoke to the staff member who cleaned our room and we filed a formal complaint and that was as far as it went. We should have been more careful with our belongings and in the future we will be, but it put a damper on our holiday to lose something with so much emotional value.

So if you decide to use this hotel/ motel make sure your belongings are hidden away.

This ‘hotel’ is absolute garbage. We may as well have stayed in the ghetto. The front steps leading to our staircase were covered with trash and cigarette butts, the staircases themselves covered in ashes and debris (looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in years), the shower knob for hot was completely loose, about to fall off, I couldn’t even turn it on (my boyfriend had to), and it sprayed everywhere very rough when on, they only provided 1 towel each, the bed itself was fine, and the air conditioning worked which was the only plus. The staff were stressed, and when I asked for them to print a ticket for a show we were attending, with a printer right behind them, they replied that they weren’t allowed to use it. For over 100$ a night it was far from Montreal for commute, and absolutely not worth the money. Overall I do not recommend, avoid at all costs.

Was driving with a trailer so I needed a place with a good sized parking lot and they have a large lot which made parking easy. I took the older rooms which still had a hint of smoke, if I was there again would opt for newly renovated rooms. The hotel is a couple of minutes walk to Tim Hortons, McDonalds, Subway ...so could get cheap bite to eat without driving around. They have an outdoor pool which looked nice but it wasn;t open when I was there. The motel was quiet when I was there so no noise issue. The air conditioner didn't seem to work very good but fortunately it wasn't hot when I was there.
