We recently spent 3 nights at this hotel and cannot fault it. After much deliberation we chose this hotel rather than a hotel in central Montreal as it was better value for money and we had a car so the free parking was appealing. We are so pleased we did, the hotel is excellent. We were allowed to check in early, we had requested a microwave and a room looking towards Old Montreal to watch the New Years Eve fireworks, both requests had been met, there is ample parking, the rooms are stylish and spacious and the addition of an Apple Mac is great, comfy beds, super clean, excellent housekeeping and friendly, helpful front desk staff. The fitness room is great, best free breakfasts we’ve had on our whole trip, free laundry and free coffee machine downstairs for coffees or hot chocolates whenever you want. The whole hotel decor is very minimal and stylish with plenty of nooks to hang out on the ground floor. There is a big IGA supermarket and shopping centre within a 10 minute walk and also a short walk to the metro (and then just a few stops to get into downtown Montreal) so we didn’t bother using our car at all. We really loved our stay and cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

No frills hotel that does the basics well. Good sound insulation: there was a loud group from India on my floor both nights but this did not disturb me. My King room was large and comfortable. The wifi was excellent and there are Apple terminals and phone charger ports in each room. The room document says there are USB plugs next to the bed but I could not find this. Breakfast is simple and intended to be eaten on the fly. The breakfast room was clean but Spartan. There is a metro station close by as well as a large shopping mall with food courts. Strangely, the shops close at 6pm although I found dinner in the IGA supermarket deli section which stays open later.
There is construction going on next door but, again, noise was not an issue. Plenty of room in the gated car park and I counted 5 car charging stations.

Very good hotel. Modern, comfortable rooms with nice shower and amenities. Very good location.
Breakfast is good but variety is limited and options change minimally from day to day.
No parking (you can park 2 corners away for $25 a night and can park curbside to unload).
Reasonably priced (but not cheap)

Stayed here four nights Grand Prix weekend. I’m a return customer so obviously I like the place. Staff is competent and attentive. Included breakfast of pastry, muffin, cereal etc is all very good. Love the 24/7 cappuccino maker. I’m a slow walker and it only takes me about 10-15 minutes to reach Metro. Only thing as mentioned by others is the construction going on next door. Soundproof rooms keep out any noise but kind of a hassle walking around all the mess when heading to metro. I really like this place and will return

I don’t see a lot of reviews here so i figured i must chime in to make sure travellers take notice of this hotel.

We stayed for a total of 2 nights at this place. Initially it was suppose to be a one night stop on our way back to Toronto, but because of the very good value, comfort and service that we received, we then decided to stay for another night ( we were gonna stay for 3 but the province dropped the hammer on NYE restrictions).

The Good : Friendly staff, In room IMac, 50 inch Smart TV with Netflix and other streaming apps, Free Parking ( Very secured) Free breakfast (+1 for the croissants). Free hot drinks 24/7. Walking distance to a mall.

The Not so good: 5-10 mins walk to Metro ( but thats nothing to us).

The Very Good: They cleaned our room! A service we miss from all the hotels we stayed at the last 2 years.

This will be our go to hotel next time we visit Montreal. Keep it up Le Dauphin Longueuil!

Stayed for 2 non-consecutive nights. First night was on the ground floor with a slow draining sink and wobbly toilet. Second night was on the first(2nd) floor and everything was perfect. Friendly and efficient staff. Clean rooms. Appreciative of the room furniture and tilework and fixtures in the bathroom. Spartan but free breakfast. Great coffee around the clock. Easy 12~15 minutes walk to metro, bus terminal or a nearby mall.

We had a great time at this hotel! Definitely we'll return, especially because the suites have soaker tubs and great views of the Montreal. Excellent service, very clean and great breakfast included! Also, the free parking is a bonus! Close to the Subway/Metro station - approx. 800m

Comfortable beds and great staff . We’ve stayed here a few times now and each time it has not disappointed so thought I would let travellers know. This is good value for hotel stay in Montreal. There are good restaurants nearby in Longueuil as a bonus.

Fine hotel with good breakfast. Very helpful man at the front desk. Nothing was too much for him. He told us how to go by metro and gave us a map so we knew how the metro lines went. Also marked where we needed to get off. And gave us the address where we could eat Poutine. Our compliments to him.

Felt like home for the time there.Excellent service and the room was perfect.
A short walk to the metro and a quick ride to downtown. Close to a small mall.
Safe parking. The breakfast was pretty good. I would definitely go back. The hotel looks very nice and all the rooms have IMacs and quiet.

At the Longueuil location, parking is free, but it is not free at the downtown Montreal location. We like the Longueuil location in part specifically for the free parking with the subway so close by and such a short ride (2 stops) into Montreal.
