I found this hotel clean. The beds were comfortable and the food in the restaurant was decent. I liked having the couches and tables in the lobby - it made it easy to meet up with coworkers. The bartender, Eric, was always super accommodating.

Stayed for 1 night while passing through the area. Hotel itself seems to have been very recently updated and has a great look inside. Modern with a huge atrium area for sitting and gathering. There is a bar in the atrium that is open in the evening as well as a restaurant on site. Check in staff were friendly. There is a cool full size biplane hanging from the ceiling.

Room was very nice and also recently updated. Very clean, great bathroom and comfortable bed. Massive TV (50 or 55 inch). The one negative with the room was that there was an older AC unit that was very loud and seemed to be giving the room a musty smell. Not terrible but you noticed it whenever you walked in. Seems like an oversight to totally renovate the room but leave old loud AC units there.

Location is in a bit of an industrial area surrounded by parking lots and a highway. Didn’t seem to be much that was walkable. The high floors on the front of the building have a great view of the river, port and Olympic stadium. There are lots of restaurants 3-6km away for quick Uber eats delivery.

Breakfast is not included in the regular rate (normal for Holiday Inn). There is a breakfast buffet offered for $18+ tax which I used. The food was decent but it seems overpriced, especially considering they have a strictly enforced policy against any grab and go food. Usually at hotels I will go down first thing, have a plate at the buffet, then grab a coffee to go and yogurt or banana to bring back to the room while I get ready. Here they won’t let you do that. There are no to go coffee cups and the staff guard the door like security guards and will stop you if they see a simple yogurt in your hand when you leave. You need to either put it back or eat it there. I get that they wouldn’t want to see people pay for one breakfast and then leave with 3 full plates to go feed the family in the room, but at $18 per person they need to relax a bit when it comes to a yogurt or banana.

Dear pveezy, Thank you for your detailed review and comments regarding your recent stay. We enjoy receiving your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and appreciate all the information you've shared regarding your room and our location. We are slowly changing out our A/C units with new quieter models. Our buffet breakfast includes a wide variety of hot and cold items which we believe to be a good value. In most restaurants the breakfast is the same price but is not an all you can eat buffet. As with most buffet restaurants, the policy is that food be consumed while in the dining room. Thank you for staying with us. A DAlesio GM - Holiday Inn Longueuil

I always like to stay at the Holiday Inn. It seems that every location has their own restriction. This location is not as convenient as we would like but it's practical for our group of 8. I was informed upon booking (with 3rd party) that it has free breakfast but we were only given 2 free coupons for each room. So we were forced to pay breakfast for extra 4 people. Breakfast was good and lots of choices. Rooms are quite smaller but air-condition was good. Toiletries were lacking in quantity, no microwave inside. Front desk service were good though. It was a good stay.

We had plans in the city for our sons birthday with friends and this hotel seemed like a reasonable choice outside city traffic. We were disappointed in numerous things as were the people who we were staying with. Hotel indicated the rooms are renovated, the only real renovations I could clearly notice was the mac tac that had been applied to the dressers, and possibly new televisions, rooms are incredibly small. Between the two rooms we rented we had issues such as stained carpets, very dirty windows, shower that didn’t have enough pressure for the water to make it from the faucet up to the shower head, a bathroom door that was broken and plastered back together making it so it didn’t even fully close, towels for 2 and 3 in hotel rooms booked for 4 people in one and 3 people in the other. Other issues included requesting adjoining rooms weeks in advance then being told at check in none were available. Although the hotel seemed to be teaming with security guards walking the halls there were still hoards of children from a hockey team running the halls banging on doors as they shot hockey pucks, pushing elevator buttons causing the elevators to remain stuck on floors and reach floors incredibly slow as they had to stop at all floors buttons were pushed for , yelling and calling obscenities to our children when they would walk by them. The pool area was awful, although the pool itself was nice and the room and water warm it was impossible to enjoy as there were masses of unsupervised children acting dangerously , throwing toys, Slapping them in peoples faces, jumping on top of people, the noise was deafening and no security or hotel worker ever even came to check. Most of the staff were friendly so that was a plus but nothing seems very organized, next to impossible to find cups or utensils if you have ordered out or brought drinks to have in your room. Amenities vary from room to room, two towels here one coffee there, one room gets two cups , one room gets no cups, you get the idea. Parking is an absolute disaster. We were there for two nights/three days and were unable to find any parking what so ever when coming back from an outting, not sure if this is due to holiday parties or possibly park and fly guests but there should be priority given to guests actually staying at the hotel. At almost 200$ per night we expected alot more given where we have stayed in the past for similar prices or less and gotten so much more for our money. This was the first Holiday Inn we have stayed at and will most probably be the last .

Dear SamanthaW559, Thank you for your review. I am sorry that you were disappointed with your recent stay. The hotel was entirely renovated in 2019-2020. This included all new furniture, fixtures, bathroom vanities, carpet and more. I assure you that there was no covering of old furniture. We apologize for the issues of maintenance and cleanliness which you've reported and will have the two rooms you had occupied verified immediately. In addition, we are presently conducting a 'deep cleaning' of our guestrooms. There are generally three sets of towels in rooms with two queen beds. When there are four guests we send another set of towels to the room. Additional towels can always be requested by dialing 0 and speaking to the front desk. This is the time of year in which we have individual travelers, as well as young athletes and members of sports groups on weekends attending local tournaments or events. We do our best to keep our individual guests separate from the groups and away from any possible noise on higher floors, but there are instances that our occupancy or other factors can make this a challenge or simply impossible. Our large Atrium is undoubtedly our finest feature, but its open configuration allows sound to travel quite easily. We regularly hire external security agents on these occasions to assist us in keeping order and quiet, especially during the night when guests are trying to rest. I apologize if during your stay we were unable to control these other guests more effectively in our public areas. When ordering food delivery from an outside restaurant utensils and paper plates should be requested and provided by the restaurant. There are 200+ free parking spaces available in the front and rear of the hotel. We believe our hotel to be a good value. Many properties charge higher rates, and charge for parking. I am sorry that you did not have an enjoyable stay, and hope you will return one day for a better experience. Cordially, A D'Alesio GM - Holiday Inn Longueuil

I often say on here owners need to spend capital dollars to improve their property or rebrand to some of the more challenging brands. No need to do that here. You can see this hotel is owned by people who care. We totally enjoyed the stay here. It is an older property circa the 1980's when Holiday Inn were building the "Holidomes" with the atriums but it has been refurbished and updated. I really liked it. Clean and fresh.
I found it a very easy on and off Highway 20. You just need to look at a map rather than depend on GPS.
I really miss the free breakfast that one gets at a HI Express. Maybe the management could look at a voucher of some kind. I normally don't stay at a Holiday Inn anymore because of this. I value it at around $12-$15 per person. There has got to be a easy to bury it in the pricing and still be competitive.
Nevertheless, I highly recommend this property. We did not have any issues with anything including noise.

Dear NSTraveller, Thank you for posting your review and sharing your recent experience. We are glad you enjoyed the hotel and its services. The renovations took place in 2019-2020 and included our rooms and public areas. Our large open atrium is our finest feature, and while it can't be seen from the outside it does impress when first entering the hotel. There is often some confusion between Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express hotels which include breakfast in a breakfast area and Holiday Inn hotels which are full-service properties. The Express properties offer fewer services and employ less personnel such as waiters and cooks, and do not have restaurants, bars, or banquet facilities. Thank you for staying with us and for your recommendations. We hope to see you again soon. A D'Alesio GM - Holiday Inn Longueuil

During our wonderful four-night stay in June at the Holiday Inn Montreal-Longueuil, we stayed in Room #623—a comfortable 2 queen bed room. What made our stay even better was the friendly front desk team, including E Torre, Alexis, Amanda, and Alicia, who went out of their way to make us feel welcome and helped us with everything we needed. Thanks to our IHG Platinum status, we were lucky enough to get a free room upgrade, and we were absolutely amazed by the stunning view of the St. Lawrence River from our upgraded corner room. We also loved having access to the indoor swimming pool, which was a great way to unwind. Plus, the free parking was a big plus. All in all, our experience at the Holiday Inn Montreal-Longueuil was fantastic, and we happily give it a 5/5 star rating. If you're looking for a great place to stay in Montreal, this is definitely it!

Dear suhairs, Thank you for the review of our property after your recent stay. I apologize if we did not meet your needs or expectations. All of our guestrooms and public spaces were renovated in 2019-2020. I am not sure why you believe the hotel to be considered 'old'. All of the furniture, decor, lighting, bathrooms etc were completely changed. The air conditioning units are serviced regularly and changed out when needed. Unfortunately, with the current heat wave they have had some difficulty and can be a little noisier than usual if operating 24 hours per day. There were over 300 guests in the hotel this past weekend and our breakfast servers may have been a little overwhelmed. Like many others in the service industry we have had some staffing issues and have been trying to hire more waiters unsuccessfully. Thank you for your patience and understanding. We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. Staff we encountered were all very friendly. Our rooms were large and very clean, they looked like they were recently renovated. Parking is free, and we never had any problem getting a space. We were right across from the elevator, so some noise in the evenings from people getting on and off and some noise from the room above me, but it was quiet for most of the night. The hotel area is industrial, so not much right nearby, but Centreville Longueuil is about a mile south and had some nice restaurants, and there's a bunch of strip malls with fast food and chain restaurants a mile or two to the east. We had no problems with anything during our stay and would stay again.

The Longueuil metro is a 7 minute drive or a 45 minute walk from the hotel. There is parking available around the metro area ($). There are several bus lines that lead to the metro which take about 15 minutes.

Dear Harold, Unfortunately we do not have shuttle service. Your party can consider taking the metro or subway from Bonaventure station to Longueuil metro station on the south shore and then take a short taxi ride to our property. You can also take a taxi from Bonaventure station directly to our property for approximately $30-$45.
