When I was planning my trip to the Island for a conference (and some sightseeing) I happened upon this hostel, and I chose it based on the price and the reviews. The price for a private room on the 3rd floor, shared bathroom on the 2nd, was far less than the hotels in Charlottetown, and the benefits were huge. First...

Stay away, difficult to deal with. I would not recommend this hostel as they are very inflexible with their cancellation policy. They would not cancel a booking a day prior due to a trip cancellation.

Amazingly clean and comfortable rooms, bathrooms and common areas, incredibly kind, welcoming and friendly staff and a great location in the very quiet and quaint city of Charlottetown! This is probably the best hostel I've ever stayed in and I will definitely return.

I spent 3 nights at this hostel and no wonder! It is an amazing place in the heart of Charlottetown. Levi is a wonderful host/manager and just all the little things make your stay comfortable. Free breakfast in the morning including freshly baked banana bread! WOW! And a sack of complimentary PEI potatoes is always in the kitchen for guest...

I have been coming back year after year to this wonderful hostel even though i can easily afford a luxury hotel. Why - because the experience at this hostel is amazing and you easily find "instant friends" if you want to or just enjoy the time solo. The home is lived in by the owner so the high standards are...

Our family of 4 (kids ages 10 and 7) stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Charlottetown. We stayed up in the attic with 4 single beds. It was a bit odd having someone walk through our room to get to their room but overall didn't cause any issues. The kids liked being in a house environment, and like the...

I stayed in this Hi hostel recently and loved it so much I kept extending, from 3 nights to 6. The staff were so friendly, helpful and polite, and took pride in making sure we had everything we needed. The good: really beautiful house with a homely feel- social spaces in the lounge, kitchen, back garden and converted garage (has...

My sister and I stayed here for 5 nights in mid August. The location is great, the staff are friendly and the house really starts to feel like home almost immediately. The free breakfast was lovely and our private room was very comfortable. No complaints at all.

We had a private room on the second floor. Though we were only 2, we got a very roomy double bed and a single bunk. In all we paid a very reasonable $90 for a one night stay ($45 each). The room was very spacious and well equipped; it had cable television, heating, a wall mirror and desks. Towels and 2...
