Had a recent three night stay on a trip of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. A wonderful, comfortable stay. Large room without piles of cushions and pillows on the bed, a central light so you could see, happy hour with free drink and cookies, coffee available all day in the lounge as well as coffee making facilities in the...

This was our favourite place during our 2 week maritime trip. I can't comment on regular rooms - we were upgraded to massive 2 level 3 bedroom suite, which would be great if you're in a larger group, but worked for two of us. The staff was great, suggested a few restaurants to eat( recommend Merchant s Man). Little details...

My mom and I stayed at the Great George for two nights and truly enjoyed our time there. The staff was attentive and fantastic, the cookies at the front desk were a perk, and the complementary breakfast was quite good. The downstairs lounge area was so nice to sit in, we were almost wishing for a rainy afternoon so we...

This is a cluster of 15 heritage buildings some of which were single family houses. The period interiors are carefully designed to reflect refined tastes. We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights in a room on the 2nd floor of the hotel building. It was quiet and comfortable. All personnel were polite and friendly. The buffet breakfast was very good, with...

The concierge gave us wonderful packets with descriptions for making the excursions meaningful and fun. No tour guide needed. Arriving back to the hotel there is a...

The grandest hotel on the island; worth the expense for a special trip. Having spent the week all over Prince Edward Island, we wrapped up our honeymoon at the Great George. The rooms are certainly expensive, but if you're looking for a truly memorable stay, there's no place better. The room was incredible, the location is ideal, and the staff...

Hotel is located across from the Basilica and walking distance to the downtown core. The lobby has a lovely extended seating area with a large fireplace, coffee, tea and muffins there to enjoy. From 5:00-6:00 PM wine and beer is served complimentary of the hotel. Fresh baked cookies in the afternoon. I found the room to have comfortable beds. Small...

The location is excellent as you are in downtown CHarlottetown. Bring your other half or your parents or grandparents for a journey in time and history. The island is...
