This was our second visit to the Cozy Suites Inn. Since we had such a good time last year, we decided to return to this wonderful place. Last year we stayed in the Beach Suite, which suited us very well. This time we stayed at the Hemmingway Suite, which has a full kitchen with a large fridge and kitchen table,...

My family can't speak highly enough of Cozy Suites. The accomodation was clean, comfortable and 'cozy'! and the fridge was always well stocked. Deb, the proprietor was so helpful; going to special trouble to sort out sleeping arrangements for our teenage daughter, unexpectedly providing us with a cooler bag of drinks for our long car journey to Montreal and loaning...

My daughter recommended Cozy Suites to me! As a single woman travelling alone, it was the perfect choice. My suite was appointed to perfection and having a fully furnished kitchen area allowed me to have my breakfast or light supper in privacy without the concern of sitting alone in a restaurant. I could even invite a friend in for tea....

The Cozy Suites Inn is a terrific B&B. It is clean and comfortable and the owner and staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and the homemade banana bread to die for. It is situated in a residential area away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown core but public transport is right at the doorstep....

Staying in Scarborough

Neighbourhood Profile
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
