We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with host Albert and his family. The B&B is in Koreatown and about a block from the Christie TTC stop. We bought a one-day TTC pass and it made the whole city easily accessible. Little Italy is a 10-15 minute walk, and Chinatown is also, close by. As others have said, bring slippers and plan to...

We spent two nights at the beautiful Suite Dreams B&B in Toronto. We cannot speak highly enough of Mr Albert Tan. From the moment we arrived we felt part of the family, throughout our stay Albert was so warm and welcoming, very kind and generous. Our room was large and comfortable, with a Queen bed, armchair, writing table, TV, and...

I visited family who live in downtown and was finally able to get a room at Suite Dreams. The Cathedral Suite was spotless, spacious and wonderful to come home to after a full day of shopping and walking in Toronto. I didn't need a car to get from the airport to Suite Dreams - express bus to Kipling, then subway...

We recently spent 4 days and 3 nights in Toronto and were lucky enough to be hosted by Mr. Albert Tan. Mr. Tan's B&B, Suite Dreams, was exceptionally clean and he provided A-1 service, offering healthy, homemade breakfast options each and every morning so that we could start out days off right! Even when we were late to breakfast, he...

I recently spent five days in Toronto staying at the Suite Dreams Bed and Breakfast. Albert, the host was very generous and helpful, with lots of local knowledge. This is a very well kept Bed and Breakfast in a very cosmopolitan area with many restaurants within walking distance. The subway is literally just around the corner.

It's my sort of opinion that when you stay at a bed and breakfast, you don't just stay in a room, you are a visitor of the B&B's owner, who is typically a gracious host. Albert Tan is no exception to this rule. He is as kind as he is helpful and almost fatherly. As long as you follow his...

Suite dreams Toronto is a great place to stay weather you go on vacation, as a student or business. It is a very nice town house, in a quiet street. Very clean, well located, 1 block from subway, 1 block from a park, a parking lot in the same street. Many restaurants and stores around, and the most important of...

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
