My boyfriend and I stayed at the Pantages last weekend to go visit some friends and family. The room was comfortable and clean. Every time we were entering the hotel, staff was saying hello! Always a valet (Ricky) to open the door for you with a nice smile. We had a small issue with our shower so maintenance (Ariel, very...

Great service with a great location. Spa services were nice. Upscale but not crazy prices. Close to everything. Dogs are allowed so enjoyed the casual approach. Staff were friendly. The room was clean but a little dated. Good size and very functional.

Compared to what everything else costs in TO it was a decent deal and right in the middle of everything. Plan ahead they book up 100% all of the time. Can't go wrong with the location and the rooms are pretty large.

This was my first stay at this facility. Great location for quick access to St. Michael's Hospital. Arrival went smoothly with a very competent valet who then greeted me by name each time he saw me. Facility shows wear and tear. The 'lobby' is a corridor to a small counter. The two rooms that we rented were clean spacious. The...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
