We have been coming back to this hotel over the years. Perfect location right in the heart of Toronto and had a great spa. Sadly the place is not what it was. The staff are still helpful and friendly and ricky the doorman is the best, but the place feels like a house where the patents have gone away and...

The overall experience was okay. The room was great and the location was amazing! The problem I had was with customer service. Employees weren't the kindest when I was trying to ask for help. They put an extra charge on my credit card and for the past few days I have been trying to reach the manager to help me...

In an expensive city such as Toronto it was really important that I got value for money. Pantages was a great pick, big spacious room including kitchen area and sofa. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the wifi was great and the hotel was literally around the corner from the Eaton centre and Yonge/Dundas Square. Real great pick 😀

Great place to stay. Very close to St. Michael's hospital. Yonge Street was right around the corner as well as Dundas Square. Staff was great and always greeted me when they saw me. Will definitely stay there again.

The best is location. It's in Toronto city centre, A few steps away from Dundas square, Eaton centre shopping... Big apartments with self laundry services. Not too expensive in comparation Toronto city centre hotels are.

Stayed here for an overnight in Toronto. If this is a four star hotel then I'm going to start renting out the family minivan as a luxury limousine. Barely a three star, more like 2 1/2. All the furniture was painted over (badly), the walls were repainted by what appeared to be a group of fifth graders, and the flooring...

Good location for cental Toronto. Definitely not 4 star. Our room was dark and dingy. Old scratched furniture with Only a few dull lamps for light - could barely see! Laminate flooring which felt cheap. Carpet generally gives a more luxurious feel. If it was advertised as a 3 star hotel and cheaper, I wouldn't have had such a problem...

We stayed in this hotel for multiple nights this summer to watch Toronto Blue Jays Games. The pluses of the hotel are, it's location near many bars and restaurants. The rooms have kitchens and are a decent size. The parking staff was excellent and were very knowledgeable of the city. Now for the negatives and I felt here were too...

This place has a number of amenities such as a kitchen and insuite laundry (hence the score of 3) but these were over overshadowed by a series of flaws. To begin with the reception staff acted like they hated their jobs and it went downhill from there: a very grungy bathroom including a disgusting sink, black grout around the tub,...

Where to begin?? I wish some of the more recent reviews had been written a few months back to save us a lot of time and hassle! I tried to contact the hotel several weeks before arrival to discuss a gift basket I had ordered via a third party. Emails were bounced back, tweets and Facebook messages ignored. I should...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
