Although charged $50 for early check-in, we proceeded to wait for an additional hour to get in the room. The "free" shuttle to the airport ended up more expensive than a taxi after charging our family of four extra expenses for suitcases... even though we we the only people on the 5 am shuttle. The restaurant is closed fir renovation and the only opion for any food or drink outside breakfast is a vending machine with drinks. Overall, a very unsatisfactory airport hotel experience.
Check in was a breeze and room very clean. Very comfortable king sized bed. Nice soft sheets and pillows. Good sized fridge in a spacious room. Shuttle provided to the airport and lots of items for a breakfast on the run. I drove back home and left my friend in the hands of the shuttle driver We did the dinner in the restaurant attached to the hotel BITES try its excellent
This was a overnight stay. Rooms a little outdated, TV image not very good, furniture was chipped in some places and there was hair on the bathroom floor. Overall room was tidy and seemed clean. Front desk staff very helpful ! Breakfast has a variety of food but needed vegan options. Otherwise overall stay was enjoyable!
Room was quiet and clean. Bed was super comfortable. Shower was great. Breakfast was excellent and shuttle service is provided before midnight. I would stay here again for sure. Front staff were friendly and quick to make changes as I needed to prolong my stay for a few hours as our flight was cancelled and then flight time changes happened. The front staff were fantastic and I was able to stay till 2 pm and get the rest we needed to continue our journey home. Was offered an extra hour at no charge and then $10 an hour after that for extra time. Reasonable for sure and well worth it! I would not hesitate to stay there again when I am in the Toronto area. Poor respect for privacy. Poor internet. Need to follow their own COVID-19 policy. Showed little remorse for invading the privacy that was requested. Cleaned room two days in a row after being told no room cleaning during the stay. Very unsatisfactory.
Service: 4 out of 10, (not too helpful and a botched shuttle pick up) Hot tub jets: 7.5 out of 10 Breakfast: 6 out of 10, (a weird selection choice of chicken nuggets in the am and no scrambled eggs) Can have light music on and that tv on without volume so less boring in there! Location: 8 out of 10, (easy access to airport), (did not hear traffic much or aircraft) Rooms: 5 out 10, average
The hotel is what you would expect. Our double bed room was exactly as you see in the pictures. Clean, well kept, and in a good state of repair. The breakfast was also very good Every hotel can have its issues, it’s how the staff handles them that sets them apart . In this case our room key’s stopped working, they were quickly reset at the counter. Then they were out of towels in the hot tub, but easily picked up a couple more at the front desk. Then they were able to go above and beyond with some additional help. Okay, there was one of the airport shuttle drivers that did his impression of Mario Andretti (even drove between the lanes like they do in Italy), but that’s outside the control of the hotel itself. We stayed for two nights having flown in from the UK. Althoughwe were staying close to the airport runway we were not disturbed by aircraft noise. The breakfasts were excellent and all the staff were very friendly. Shalini on the reception was particularly friendly and very efficient. We would certainly stay at this hotel next time we visit Toronto
We had a 12 hour layover which amounted to 8 hours in the hotel. It was close to the airport and the shuttle was convenient. All staff were very helpful and friendly and the hotel was very clean with cozy bed.
We stayed here after our transCanadian train ride from Vancouver. We were advised that the train isn’t always on schedule, so we booked the night and flight home for the following day. We much appreciated the desk clerk's efficiency and friendliness. He recommended a good place to eat within walking distance since the hotel's restaurant is presently take our only. The complimentary breakfast was quite adequate and well stocked, but no scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage.
