There was literally nothing wrong with this hotel, it was clean, spacious, and very nice. The staff were great. The night bartenders were amazing-Fernando, I think that was his name, was the best. So why only 3 stars? Cost vs. Value. The club level was just o.k, the gym and pool were just o.k., the lobby again just o.k. -...

We love this location so we returned again this year. Can't say enough about the staff, they are all so friendly regardless of the encounter. The location is convenient to everything you could want to do or see in Toronto. The rooms are a nice size. The bathroom has a ton of features with heated floors and a tv in...

From early check in to club level to late checkout, everything was perfect. Staff efficient and friendly; very knowledgable. Room lovely and breakfast amazing. My husband is gluten free and the waitress even provided him with a free bread to enjoy.

So I am not normally one to write long reviews; however, this was a special occurrence for me at this hotel. I was there for a conference at the hotel for the week. Everything had been going well for me. The location is just amazing as you are near the water, the nightlife, food, and even the red bus if...

LOCATIONS AND GETTING AROUND: this top notch hotel is in the heart of the business district but for tourists visiting Toronto, the location is fine as well. Keep in mind, (and I'm from New York), even though a business district, still laid back and spread out where you can actually see sky between the buildings. About a 5 minute walk...

Location: 5 min walk to the CN Tower, Union Station, and Restaurant Row, 10 minute walk to the Air Canada Center. Service: The staff allow me to check into my room around 11am which is unheard of and I wasn't even dressed like the business men in the lobby. The biggest part is that I tore my achilles the second...

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
