It's apparent that the entire Ritz team is well trained for customer service. From the moment we exited the taxi the 'welcoming' personnel knew our names, were helpful and friendly and treat everyone like they were the most important guest. By the second day the bellman and wait staff at the restaurant addressed us by name. The room itself, facing...

You can just feel the level of high quality service! Here for a friends wedding and one of the staff was helping with something in the room, I mentioned I was hot and sweating, then he offered to press my shirt for me and bring it back within 20 minutes. The Ritz Carlton is without equal.

I have been three times there. The first visit was to their restaurant, then to their patio bar, and finally I spent two nights, as I was attending a conference there. The rooms are spacious, clean, luxurious. The beds are comfortable. I enjoyed their gym facilities, didn't have time to use the pool but I would recommend to use it....

There was literally nothing wrong with this hotel, it was clean, spacious, and very nice. The staff were great. The night bartenders were amazing-Fernando, I think that was his name, was the best. So why only 3 stars? Cost vs. Value. The club level was just o.k, the gym and pool were just o.k., the lobby again just o.k. -...

We love this location so we returned again this year. Can't say enough about the staff, they are all so friendly regardless of the encounter. The location is convenient to everything you could want to do or see in Toronto. The rooms are a nice size. The bathroom has a ton of features with heated floors and a tv in...

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
