I got the check-out time mistaken (I am autistic so I get confused easily at times; I also was not explained the proper check-out time and I do not often travel). When I went to my room following a meal at nearby elleven restaurant, I could not get inside. It was locked. I went to the front desk. The front desk was rude. I explained that I didn't know I had to check out, and they were not cordial to me even though I was extremely nice to them when I checked in and I did not understand why they soured on me. I also explained to them that I had things in my room worth far more than the $400 a night bill I was to pay them. I was not trying to not pay, I was just explaining what they were doing was stealing and also human trafficking since my room had my Passport in it and I needed my stuff to leave. How was I supposed to pay my bill if I couldn't get inside my room to get my credit card which was inside the safe? If staff were professional and at all nice, they would have reminded me while I was leaving not to be late for check out. They could have also spotted me when I went inside and told me to come to reception because they wanted to talk to me about something (remind me of my bill and check out; perhaps I was staying an additional day and they should bill it to my credit card? Why wasn't a late check-out fee automatically added to my bill and I was allowed access to my room again?). Never staying at this bad place again. I am used to getting poor service due to being autistic but I am always polite and pay in full what I am owed, I don't ask for discounts or special treatment.

My suite was terrible. Walls damaged, carpet made of plastic or something, furniture very etc etc. Very uncomfortable period. This hotel chain is so busy being cool and looking cool that they forgot about the comfort of their guests. Very Expensive but no luxury or comfort. Too casual for the money.

Quality hotel, great location for Scotia Center . Modern room, good size and nicely laid out. Order extra towels - but they do have nice robes. Small restaurant bar area was GREAT when they stayed open post concert. Security told us they were closing in 5 minutes( at 20 to 11 ? ) When we enquired about the kitchen and food for the room the staff welcomed us in . They subsequently did a great business in the next hour as many from hotel were at the Queen concert.....security guy should be fired and staff promoted for their quick reaction to servicing guests. Overall great stay

We stayed here for 2 days at the end of August for a very brief visit to Toronto. The hotel was excellent - great location and the staff were super friendly. We were able to check in early after a flight from London which we very much appreciated. The room was superb - every detail well thought out. In particular we would like to thank Tatiana and Nicole from the Concierge who were so helpful in organising a trip to Niagara Falls for us. Thank you to all concerned!

All the reviews I read before booking a room are spot on. Everything about this hotel is great — new, clean, comfy beds, smooth sheets, fluffy towels, and overall well designed. Everyone we encountered was over-the-top friendly and helpful. Location is great, everything you want/need is in walking distance, including the waterfront. I very rarely write reviews but this place deserves it.

During my stay at the hotel from August 16th to the 20th, I was truly impressed by the spaciousness and quality of the rooms. One standout aspect of the hotel was the surprisingly lower guest count, which turned out to be advantageous for us. The ease of accessibility in and out of the hotel was highly appreciated. The staff at the front went above and beyond, exhibiting exceptional courtesy and helpfulness. The hotel's location near popular tourist attractions, combined with a wide range of dining, transportation, and shopping options, made it a convenient choice. Notably, the proximity to the hop-on-hop-off bus service, just a brief five-minute walk away, added to the overall convenience. Moreover, landmarks like the CN Tower, the Toronto Blue Jays stadium, and a museum were conveniently close by. Only cons were the room was too dark and didn’t have adequate lighting as well as my shower the water wasn’t going down quick enough

To be honest, only booked this hotel because it was so close to the train station, only in Toronto overnight, but what an absolute gem. Hanan, the receptionist, was a treasure, very polite and professional, hotel lobby was extremely clean and welcoming, but the room stole it. Very large clean room, peculiar setup with the shower in the middle, which was fun really. Bathrobes available, all the toiletries you need, huge, comfortable bed, made for a great nights sleep. One hiccup, our room was overlooking the main road which started to get busy early so ask for a quiet room if possible. Breakfast, which was included , was also of high quality, small selection of hot items plus lots of cereals, pastries, fruit etc which makes for a great start to a days sightseeing. We had a late flight and the hotel were only too happy to take care of our luggage, which made our stay even better. Great hotel, great location, great staff, what a way to finish our Canadian trip, fabulous, highly recommended.

Hello ericlowe, Thank you very much for sharing your feedback with us. I am so happy to hear that your stay with us was a memorable one. I will also be sure to pass along the kind words to Hanaan, she would be thrilled. Our location is very centrally located and as a result, we tend to be in the middle of the hustle and bustle. However, for our guests who are looking for a more quiet stay, we can assign rooms that have been designated as "quiet room" to ensure a good nights sleep. I am so sorry that this option was not presented to you during your stay. For your next stay with us, please do not hesitate to inform us and we will ensure you get a quiet room. I will also be sure to pass along the kind words regarding the breakfast to the food and beverage team. We are always looking for the best offers for our guests and your feedback will only allow us to grow in the right direction. Thank you again eric and we hope to welcome you back soon ! Stayed here whilst we visited Toronto. Our room was excellent, well appointed, comfortable and spacious. There were plenty of toiletries and gowns were also provided. In the corridors they provide apples and filtered water. Breakfast was included in our tariff and whilst not being the biggest of buffets there was a decent selection available. They have washroom you can use to freshen up if you leave after checkout time. Check in and checkout was easy, quick and friendly. The undoubted star was Nicole the conceirge. Very helpful, sorted some attraction bookings for us, dealt with our not particularly user friendly transfer company and made sure our departure went smoothly.

The rooms +service was absolutely amazing. I had both a suite and normal rooms and both were beautiful. For a last min wedding, I booked this hotel for myself, family &friends. Location is fantastic with a grocery store, scotiabank arena, bars and restaurants all within a 5 minute walk. The employees went out of their way to make the weekend extra special, accommodate requests to help with the wedding, and made our whole stay stress free. Everyone from the concierge, to the bell hop, to the front desk were extremely accommodating. As a Toronto local, I was thoroughly impressed. I walk by this hotel all the time and only have the best memories of my experience. 10/10 would recommend! Thank you to the whole team!

We had the double queen bedroom. Good size with very comfy beds, plenty of cupboard etc space for your clothes and bathroom was good as was the walk in shower. We had breakfast as part of our deal. You could get a la carte for more money but we just had the buffet. There are hot dishes, cereals, patisseries and fruit. Could always find more than enough to eat. Location is great as just a short walk to CN Tower, Rogers Centre (baseball), Scotiabank Arena (virtually next door), harbour area for boat trips, train station and shopping mall. All in very happy with our stay here.
