Super 8 Toronto East is a pet friendly motel which was a definite must for us. The staff is professional and provided us with good information on all our enquiries, The breakfast buffet exceeded our expectations.

I should have instantly checked out upon setting foot in the premises. This is hands down the biggest dive and one of the most disgusting commercial accommodations I have ever had the misfortune of stating at. I left here to stay in my friends basement and sleep in a pile of sawdust and cat litter which was a welcome reprieve...

Bought through Priceline and once I arrived Pool is closed and in reconstruction. Was required to leave a $200 deposit and was confirmed from Priceline that a$100 deposit could be required. Beds are in need of upgrading as well as interior hallways The internet connection was intermittent at best There are much better options in the area

To say that Super 8 is super poor is an understatement! I stayed there for one day during the last Caribana Festival, and they charged me double for the room, way out in the eat sticks; as well as $150.00 cash deposit. The room, the halls, the stairways all had peeling paint and damaged drywall. The next day on check...

The hotel was undergoing minor renovations during our stay. The hottub in the pool room was permanently closed. Our bathroom smelled like mildew. The A/C in the room barely worked. Front desk staff was a little rude during check in because we had two vehicles.

We've spent one night here. The hotel should be re-modernized, so you can see people that are working going around. The pool was opened - end of august - but we didn't used it. The price was really high for what they've offered, but the room and the blankets were cleaned. Breakfast included, and wifi too. At home I've checked...

Staying in Scarborough

Neighbourhood Profile
Scarborough
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
